I sell jewelry and certainly don't get items as cheap as you do. Jewelry is 15%, plus any campaign amount. By the time you pay these amounts, profit is down the toilet. So, I'd love to do sales, but if nobody sees the ads because I'm buried, how will I make anything? I've been selling on eBay over 25 years and I wish the old days were still here!

Is there a y benefit to doing auctions on eBay anymore, or are most resellers using simply Buy It Now listings exclusively?

How in the world do you mange a gross of 30k per month? I’d be happy with a third of that. I try to thrift nearly every day and post things daily. How much do you usually plunk down up front per sourcing days? I’m trying very hard to get traction on this since I have a hearing disability. I’d be happy with a lucrative part-time gig, but really want to shoot for full time! If you see this and could answer, I’d GREATLY appreciate it! Thank you! 🙏 😊
Conc. Amazon FBA for board games & media, does the monthly selling fee, storage fee, etc still come in cheaper than shipping on eBay? So many other KZbinrs talk about the cost being prohibitive. Sometimes it’s hard to separate the wheat from the chaff and I’ve found you to be “wheat”.

Hey, that’s me! Thanks for answering my question! I think the listing as a collectible thing tripped me up because I’m primarily a book seller on Amazon and with books you have new, used, and collectible as three separately defined categories. Thanks for clarifying the differences when it comes to games 😊

You showed on an earlier video of your 30 day total sales revenue adding up to over 30K. You also mentioned before you only have up like 200 or 300 listings. How are you generating 30K a month in revenue by selling $8-10 in board games or the other miscellaneous stuff you’ve shown. Especially if we’re going off the sales rate of 1% of items should sell every day, that puts you at 2-3 items a day. Please correct me if I’m wrong. I sell mostly electronic and 30K a month in revenue is going to require some serious work. I’ve only been on the platform for 2 years but I know you OG’s have it figured out.😎

Assuming the weight is correct.....1.5 lbs x16 oz = 24oz x 28.35 grams = ~680.4 g x current spot x 90% = $537.05 ...... instantly almost 10x your $$..... Good Job !!

I’m a hobbyist EBAY seller with under a 100 listings so a store isn’t worth it to me. I can’t do sales but I do send offers to people. I did end listing and did sell as similar. It helps sometimes. Any other suggestions I can try to move items?

Since moving to a small town in Florida, sourcing has become a real problem. Local GWs here rarely have any hard goods of value. Clothing here is terrible as well, nothing but lightweight clothes, shorts and Tshirts. Going to have to travel to Orlando or Miami if I wanted to do a 'route' of hitting half dozen stores in a day. I have had sourced online with auctions, but that was in Oregon, so if I buy from them now, shipping is MUCH more. Trying to figure out my best path forward. Thanks for this video, gave me some inspiration to get into my store today, Sunday, instead of taking a day off. Gotta hit the grind!!

I post on a local service we have here & I buy some stuff just from random local people. Look into something like that in your area. Could give you a nice inventory boost.

This should be titled "Can you make any money selling the cast-offs from the Seller Cartels types claiming they are doing $15k a month?" the people who can spend $50k on 5-10 gaylords each week and have 12 employees to clean-sort-list-and mail 100s of items. Spoiler alert, you really can't make jack. Unless you move to Utah or Virginia and live next to old dying religious people who donate Ping Golf Clubs and recent PlayStation. People totally tech illiterate.

How do you get your sell through rate so high?
@johndough2327 күн бұрын
Off the eBay listings pages. Red short...200 sold 2000 available = 10% STR (in 90 days) add variables to dig further and find the magic 80-20. (HINT 2xl and up). If you do this sort of thing you can scan an entire rack of shirts in a few monutes for the gems. Avoiding the s-m-l almost completely. Hit as many stores you can in a day and go home with 10 items.
@johndough2327 күн бұрын
Here's the bottom line on thrift stores et al. UNless you are extremely savvy and or there when the carts come-out, you are WASTING your time browsing a store. Odds are even interesting things you pick up have been judged by 6 resellers before you and put back, so have fun with that. In my town 60% of the store at any time of the day are hardcore resellers. 35% resellers if they find a good item, and 5% employees. 😂
