Almost 500 dollars projected profit from a few stops is absolutely excellent. Glad to see it. Especially with mom coming in clutch with the discount. Doing a 10 day trip from WV to NY in the middle of September. Planning the sourcing route currently. Hopefully the trip can pay for itself like you are doing.

Amazing! Take me with you - I love that drive that you're going to make - especially during the autumn. Where are you headed in NY? I'm from upstate NY. Best of luck on the way. I wish you many treasures and fortunes in the form of fantastic finds!

We source our way from Long Island, NY to TN a few times/year. Check out the bins outside of Harrisburg, PA if it's on your route. It's often a worthwhile stop for us.

@@ThriftBoss My niece and her boyfriend and their 2 kids are on Long Island NY. I'm originally from Suffolk County but they live in Nassau County, a few towns from Queens NY border. I appreciate your kindness and really dig your channel.

@@fibersflowersandfinds It's a possibility I could check it out because I will be visiting my brothers grave in Scranton PA along the way. Thanks for the tip about the bins in Harrisburg.

especially for 2024. prior to 2017 it was easy to drive cross country and find big profit at every thrift. Now you can hit 10 stores, and find very little profit.

I like that you find real shops and real items. Thrifting for a profit isn't easy. I've just started recently and appreciate your content.

I love board games but game/toy shelves are quite poor in most thrift stores. Never sold them on eBay (as I prefer to sell small sized item) but you are making me think differently now. Thanks for the video and the new ideas on board games.
@ThriftBoss3 ай бұрын
Indeed. There are certainly some thrift stores out there with game shelves that look like they've been through war. I'm going to do a board game centric video soon and talk about that. I definitely recommend considering selling games on Amazon - specifically through the FBA program. I prob wouldn't sell many games if it weren't for the FBA program. Thanks!

Very interesting angle! We as a small three person family would love to be able to jump in the vehicle and go do the same thing. Similar thing visit, old friends, cross the country specially in the upper Midwest, where we moved from here to Texas but we need to work on our transportation and also how to figure out how the business will stay running with us away from it, it’s we resellers know, so completely labor-intensive.

I do recommend giving it a go. I travel with a "Reselling Kit" - printer, boxes, poly bags, etc....like a small home office/smaller version of my setup at home. Just a box full of stuff that I regularly use, and if necessary I'll stop in at a dollar store for some basic supplies. I covered a bit of my traveling kit and how I resell from the road in this video - mostly near the end of the video kzbin.info/www/bejne/j6jKha2CjZ52a6M If you can figure out how to do it, being able to travel and still make money/work while you're road tripping, you'll love it! Thanks for the comment and checking out the vid!

Flathead industires can be a great store! There are a few others in the area that have proven to be good as well, in my experience. Montana is a great state! Glacier Park is a top 10 place in my opinion, especially during the slower, less trafficked, seasons.
@ThriftBoss3 ай бұрын
Loved Glacier! I went on Beartooth Parkway a couple days before and highly recommend. It's almost as beautiful, much less crowded, and magical as well. Thanks!

Is selling 1/2 empty bottles of perfume ok to sell on EBay now? I have always kept myself from doing that. 😕 Would definitely like to without worrying though. I don’t want to list it in a different category or do anything like that. BTW I LOVE your videos!

You may have already answered this question, but do you check your board games to see if they’re complete? That always worries me. -new subscriber

Most of the time. However, there are times that I don't. There's a bit of nuance and context in that. I'm going to talk about this question in a video coming up. Short answer though - I do and would recommend to anyone who's just starting with board games. Thanks for the question and the sub! 🤘

2 million rank? Guess you don't mind waiting?
@ThriftBoss3 ай бұрын
Assuming you mean the book set? 2 million rank in books isn't as bad as it may seem. While certainly not the best rank, it's still in the top 2% of sales in the Books catergory on Amazon. May take a few months but 4th quarter is coming up so maybe then. What's your threshold for sales ranks? I'm always curious about other resellers. Thanks!
