I daily a iPhone X 😭 it gets what I need done, and it seems to be built like a brick, I’ve dropped this phone so many times, on dirt, hardwood, marble, concrete, and asphalt, not even a crack, I also use it in the shower to put on videos/music to watch/listen to. I’ll prolly use this phone till it either stops working or blows up

I bought cat s22 flip. When im at work i have to go back to my smartphone because i need some features flip cant. But during off days im back to the flip. Cat s22 is a flip with smartphone features but limited so you have limitations as well and find it anoying to use those apps. Unless you enjoy watching or browsing on a small screen. Im checking on other phones as well that is more of a dumber phone than this. 😁🤣😂

if you think the SE has a bad battery you should drastically spent less time on your phone. 1-3hrs usage per day is where this phone shines and the very powerful chip will make sure it runs smooth for years to come. if you spent +5hrs per day on your phone thats ON YOU. nobody should spent that much time sucked in to a little box

Honestly just do an apple watch cellular. It allows you to disconnect from the social media, games, etc. of the smartphone but still have full functionality for directions, asking siri a question, using NFC payments, letting your spouse/friends know where you are with find my. All of the stuff you need but none of the other stuff that you don't want. Can even listen to music, podcasts, etc.

SE is the budget model. Generally the later model with all the fixes but smaller and will run hotter due to the fact.

Hey man, I just wanted to add I recently got a deal from Verizon so pretty much what they did was they upfront me and iPhone 15 Pro for 153 bucks with tax and all that you know you know what the hell it goes and I just wanna know what you think so they’re valuing my iPhone 8 Plus unlocked for 830 bucks But during the sign-up process, it says I will saving $1065 including a $200 gift card from Verizon after I activate it right now. All I have left to pay about 660 bucks for about $18 a month plus $80 for theultra wideband account. What do you think about that man is do you think that was a good deal or did I just get boned?

Yes 3D Touch needs to come back they took it out and you would think the price of the phones would have gone down because that had to be a pricey feature and nope they remove it and increase the prices.

I spent $4000 on one back in 2020. Back then people were selling them for $5000…as they basically came out in Late 2017, and they retailed for like $7000 plus tax for the base model, which is truly insane. Honestly, mine has never been that fast, and the fans are crazy loud, this computer runs hot as balls all the time…I would not recommend buying one unless you’re getting one for under $1000

Money saved is money earned. We don't need to keep buying a new variant of phone each year. We really don't need technology like satellite connection, AI and all that fancy stuff in our daily lives.

I jumped from de X to the 14 PM and it took me like 3 months to stop using my X as my main phone. The size, the weight and the looks still make me carry it around as a second phone. I haven’t been able to sell it or give it away. It’s so light and thin it reminds me of the iPod touch.

I am thinking of purchasing a 3rd generation se, I currently have a Samsung a54, would it be worth making the change? I don't care at all about the battery, just look for a small phone, with a good camera and durable. (I have never used iPhone, it would be my first IOS mobile)

I currently still use my XR 10 and will use it until I can’t. I refuse to drop $1K on a phone because that’s just ridiculous. When the time comes, I will replace my phone with something that is inexpensive, preferably under $400 and can do the job. I’m grateful for these types of videos as I still want my phone to have good internal hardware and can easily handle any iPhone updates. Clearly my phones last me a while.
@juliusdelapaz1288 күн бұрын
i like your comment. i think more people should be like you or me--being mindful of what we usually do on our phones and spend just right for what we only need. Many people immediately dream of getting the most expensive iphone without realizing that will be paying for those expensive features they don't need or rarely use
@milicamarshastefanovich33127 күн бұрын
@@juliusdelapaz128I couldn’t agree more. When I left Verizon as my carrier and switched to Visible (only $25 a month ) the guy tried to shame me for switching. 4 years later and $2,400 saved, I have zero regrets and my carrier works like a charm. My phone is a tool and not my life. Also, there’s nothing wrong with being frugal when it comes to a depreciating asset.

After using the SE3rd generation since it came out the battery is at 78% peak capacity. Usage is about 35 min/ daily. Also the special shots like nighttime, fireworks etc are not even close to the higher end iPhones. But i still like the phone for its size and simplicity. I don’t want to carry around some mini iPad sized device when out of the house. Lastly, I agree totally with limiting daily usage as these devices can literally take over ones life. My girlfriend’s usage is over 8 hours a day and it has effected our relationship. I feel as though her phone comes before me. Any mention of this sets of arguments so the situation just continues. I’m sure there are millions of ruined relationships because of the addiction of these devices.

Great advice! Big tech purchases are investments. You should set a target an amount of time you want it to last, and then always buy the most premium option that fits your use case. In the long run it will save you money if you don't swap it out or upgrade. As an example, I am still using my same custom desktop PC with like 1 or 2 upgraded parts nearly 10 years later. I spent about $1,000 on it when I had just graduated from university and it's been one of the best investments I have ever made. I just upgraded my phone, the phone I had before I had been using for 5 years. I just upgraded my mouse and keyboard, both of which I had been using for 6 years. It was fun to upgrade because 1. I knew exactly what I wanted out of the new tech 2. I had gotten a lot of great use out of the tech I had before and 3. I had a target of specifications for what I wanted out of these products.
