Kevin you know that life, here on earth is a test of faith, we either ace it or fail, it's all up to us in the end. Our loved ones have gone before us to make a place for us when we arrive; for them time nearly stands still; 2 Peter 3:8 but for us, we grieve for years. We never “get over-it” we simply learn to live without them in our lives until we are finally reunited. I sometimes wonder when I grieve for my children, my father, my beloved pets and my dear friends if I am being selfish? They are the ones who are rejoicing! They are experiencing true happiness in a place without pain or suffering. So, how can I be so unhappy? I remind myself to be thankful that they are in such an amazing place with our Lord and savior! It is us, the living who suffer! They have found the love and happiness we all strive for here on earth but can never attain; because true happiness does not exist here; nor should it, this is only a test of faith and endurance. "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit". Psalm 34:18 Remember; this too shall pass.

My yorki Bobber passed away at 12 of an oversized heart. So very sorry for your loss. One of the hardest things ive ever done is have to make that decision.
