Sounds weird but i would loosen the mount, climb inside and have them close everything up. Have them put a nice sized shim in-between the areas that are hitting. Now tighten everything up while you're still inside the bed with everything still closed up

@@brimmed thanks for watching and commenting. For the chin mount that I linked to on Amazon it came with the clip that slides into the helmet mount. The magnetic clip from DJI had to be purchased separately. If you get the adventure combo it should come with 2 magnetic clips for the camera to mount to. I owned a 2023 ZR2 with 6.2L and put 40K on it. Loved the truck but not MPG (15.0 overall). Traded for 2024 ZR2 with 3.0L DuraMax turbo diesel. At 10K average 21.6 MPG overall and diesel is $0.30/gallon cheaper than 93 octane.
@GeoRides114

Nice, dramatic difference in mpg. I was contemplating a diesel AT4 but I've never owned a diesel and felt like the "extra" stuff (DEF, regen if that's a thing on the AT4 & ZR2) with a diesel wasn't my thing. @ it’s not about features it’s about price overall. 90K for an suv is insane. Toyota, Jeep, Ford, Chevy all struggling to sell units why? Most Americans can’t afford a $70k vehicle. Idk who they are targeting bout it’s not the average consumer. Their revenues are down over 50% and no wonder why.

Thanks for watching and commenting, I haven't noticed any power or performance loss from using the bag. I would say using the bag or not is negligible because all of the debris that gets on your filter if you don't use the bag. I mainly use the bag to keep the debris off the filter and any chance of smaller particles passing through to the vacuum motor. There is Bauer kit from Harbor Freight that a lot of people like but I am not going to purchase personally. Look for it on KZbin I believe I have watched videos on it. I had a 2020 Chevy Silverado 2500 LTZ Duramax. I loved that truck! But I needed a truck with more cargo and towing capacity so I bought a 2024 3500 LTZ Duramax with dual rear wheels. What I like about the 2024. The 2024 has the generation 2 Duramax so you get more horsepower and torque. I like the long bed for hauling cargo especially when towing my 5th wheel camper. What I don’t like about my 2024. No cigarette lighter power receptacle. The wireless charger sucks because you need a spacer that prevents inserting your phone all the way in the cradle. Otherwise, it does not recognize the phone. The 2024 does not have door lock buttons on the rear doors like my 2020 had. They wear a nice convenance. The trim on the dash blinds you in the sun on the 2024. The 2024 does not have HD radio. The 2024 require a subscription to an OnStar data plan to use google or other apps. That mean I have to use Apple Car Play to get cast Google Maps from my phone. I appreciate the idea to use my phone as a hot spot and that might be cheaper than an OnStar subscription. Had I known all of this before I bought a new truck I would have looked for a low mileage pre 2023. I’m really frustrated that I have an $80K+ truck and it requires a subscription to use the trucks features.

This looks like a great cover. I've been planning to buy a smooth, black Diamondback HD bedcover when I buy my new F150 in 2025, but am a bit concerned about that fixed center piece. This BAK Revolver seems to solve that, and seems a great alternative to solve that fixed center piece issue but retain many other benefits. My main concern with this is as it is with most covers, water leakage. I'd welcome your thoughts on that. And specifically, am I imagining things, or is that wide flat piece that you first installed that runs all along both sides that the cover rolls onto and its rubber lays on as it is rolled closed, is that piece at a slight downward angle towards the outside, to assist water drainage away from the cover, or is it just flat? Thanks.
@GeoRides114
@GeoRides114 Ай бұрын
Thanks for watching and commenting. The main areas that allow water in are the front and rear truck bed areas. What I have found is the sides don't leak and the leakage sits in the four corners of the bed. From what I've heard, the only non-leaking units for the most part are hard caps and tonneaus but I could be wrong. I live in Virginia so not a crazy amount of rain like maybe Seattle or Florida. I'd recommend the cover for the versatility but I feel your pain in terms of making a decision. Again, thanks for watching and stay tuned for more!

Just installed x4ts the version with rails. Nothing is bulletproof, but if they had made that last rail near the door stiffer with less flex it would make it harder to lift and get access to the release. Makes sense, I started looking at the diesel but decided not to for a couple different reasons. I've never had a diesel and didn't want to necessarily deal with the DEF also. I guess deterred by the unknown. Like any mechanical item, I've heard there is a lot to deal with when it comes to diesel engines and ensuring they are driven regularly and at a specific mph. My truck may sit for some time (because of the motorcycle) so I didn't want to deal with that aspect.
