DJI OSMO Action 4 Motorcycle Chin Mount for Vlogging | Priced Right!!

I'm getting my CBR650R in a month(or a week more than a month) from today and I decided to stick with the osmo action 5 pro setup. However, with the mount, did you check out the osmo camera mount which is from DJI itself? Do you think that having a clip mount with the mic behind the clip will be a good idea? Also, I am going to get the exact same helmet as you did/ Appreciate the video man, really helpful

Thanks for watching and commenting, I took a brief look at the DJI mount and others like it. I didn't prefer that style due to it wrapping inside the helmet and messing up my seal with the face-shield, especially during the winter. I knew once I put the mount on the helmet, I didn't want to fuss with it at all. I appreciate the feedback, I enjoy making these videos and especially when I get productive feedback. But if I wanted to put the Osmo Action 4 and an intercom, what do I do with the microphone? Should I put two different ones? If by any chance you can answer me in detail I'm very proud of it

Thanks for watching and commenting. If I understand your question, my current setup is the way you described. I have a Bluetooth SENA with a micrphone for that system and a DJI Mic 2 that I attach using magnets to the inside of my helmet which allows me to use both as needed. @@GeoRides114 more convient when you stop for fuel/shops, just flip the lid and no issues. Found it more comfortable than the full face too

Does the hardware that slides into the chin mount come with the camera? It looks like that Amazon one comes with it but I have an LS2 helmet so I just found the chin mount online and had my buddy 3d print it. Getting ready to order the camera but can't figure out what else I need to mount it lol

@@brimmed thanks for watching and commenting. For the chin mount that I linked to on Amazon it came with the clip that slides into the helmet mount. The magnetic clip from DJI had to be purchased separately. If you get the adventure combo it should come with 2 magnetic clips for the camera to mount to. I ended up purchasing several (maybe 5 total) magnetic clips to make sure I don’t waste a bunch of time swapping stuff around. Once I get to my computer can link the clip.

I'm new to your channel. What was it you said you'd never do? Was it mounting the camera on the helmet? I'm very jelly of your expanding arsenal of tech, and your workshop. :D I'm going to get the Action 4 and the DJI Mic 2 at some point this year, but I'm still using the original Action right now with a Zoom F2 audio recorder. I'm not convinced by 360 cams (mainly in terms of video quality and workflow) for what they cost, but they do open up some exciting possibilities. Maybe for my 3rd camera 😅. Good luck with the channel, you're definitely a man with a plan.

Thanks for watching and commenting. Yeah, never say never they say. I'm lucky to have those things for sure. Did you end up getting the DJI setup or did you get the Action 5? The only reason I would want the Action 5 is for the 2 mic setup. It would really come in handy for some of the shoots I do and not require me to carry my Pocket 3.

I see that you also tried the x3 and x4 and now the action. Which do you feel like is over all the best camera for motovloging? I’m on the fence I have the action 4 but think I may have made the wrong choice about skipping the x4 which one you like the best

@@Detroit313sneakerlover man that’s a tough call. If I absolutely had to choose one I would most likely go with the X3 or X4. Reason being, the Action 4 can’t do 360 and the x3/4 can do all the Action can. That said, I would say go with both for multiple angles. That’s my reason for having both, providing more options for me and the viewer. I hope I answered your question. Thank you for watching and stay tuned!

@@GeoRides114 just got the x4 and In all honesty I prefer the simplicity of the action 4 bro I may be going back to Best Buy and getting my action 4 back and this thing gets hot super fast! Action 4 video quality is way better in my opinion

@@Detroit313sneakerlover I can understand all of those things you mentioned. My recommendation is to keep both and use the X4 as a supplement but I understand how much it takes to run 2 cameras, trust me. Good luck in getting this the way you want it!
