Then I tried a number of other spots up to Anderson Island and finished my day on the rock island tops behind Anderson Island.

Some areas at folsom are 5mph because there are huge boulders under water. A year ago I was fishing one of the creek arm at Folsom and a 19foot boat smash into a huge boulder. Dude was going 15-20mph. Loudest BOOM ever heard in my life.
@proambass8027Ай бұрын
@@dangkhang9479 I can understand that, right after the 5mph buoys up there in front of the power house area there are several islands in the main channel. Same on the other side of the channel when the water levels come down. I just wished when the lake was closer to full pool they’d remove that 5mph or scoot it back more. Close to full pool all those islands/boulders are 50+ft underwater. Those island tops when the water level drops are awesome spots for flukes. They have the State Parks guys out there every day marking rocks with buoys, wouldn’t take them long to scoot the 5mph zone back when the water level is high. But I 100% understand your point, ive come across huge boulders 200+ yards off shore before out there and have ran in to some. Luckily it was with my trolling motor though. Hahahaha.

Similar issue with the jig, a lot of the bass are ripping off my tails on the trailers. I’ve been using the sp pointer 90 and a small blade bait. I can’t find much size lately. My top water bite was odd also, caught two by the tail. I think they are slapping it because I’ve missed so many bites.
