Great post! Sorry to hear about your tow vehicle. I was out there last Sunday and got 5 total but 1 was my PB smallmouth out of Folsom right at 3 pounds. That one hit the 5” Nessie in Rainbow Trout color.

That was a lot of baitfish. Seems like the bass hit your slower presentations - water is cooling but not real cold yet…hmmm. Maybe the recent storm has them a bit tentative as they adjust back to calm weather. Appreciate your videos for a FL status check and to see how the bait and fish are behaving.

Man I was moving my baits sooo slow, or trying to until I had a follow burning that dropshot in. Then a cast or 2 later I got the hit bouncing the drop shot and thought I was on to something…nope lol. I still think they want it slower though. I did try a lot of jerkbaits and crankbaits too. I spoke with a guy who did get one on a crankbait too.
