It's often described by die-hard fans as "Peasant Simulator 2018." 😅 There are a lot of good, welcoming people from all over the world in the Facebook Kingdom Come:Deliverance group, and a lot of good discussion. And Luke Dale stops by fairly frequently! (Tom never has, that I know of, but I think Michael Pitthan [Radzig] has popped in once or twice under an alias.)
@KintzugiКүн бұрын
I noticed Luke Dale was very active in the community! The voice actors in this game give me the same community engagement vibes that the folks who did voice acting for BG3 do. I just love when a game creates an experience beyond the confines of the game itself!

I agree on a quick menu. I would like Warhorse to steal the quick menu from Skyrim where you can just mark items as favorite and quickly switch in combat maybe even set a hotkeys for items.

Exactly what I was thinking! I’m pretty sure KCD limits what you can use in combat(and I imagine they want to retain the reality of not being able to quickly use things in a real sword fight), but just having a quick action at all for some scenarios would be a nice to have for sure!

I'm so happy I don't live in the USA. The environment is so toxic for so many reasons. Growing up in Poland I was never an outcast because of my hobby. And when I went to uni I found people with similar interest to play video games (that's a stupid name from my perspective, they should be computer games), board games and table top games. Now as an older adult no one is surprised or against my hobby, just as when I was younger.

Happy to hear you haven’t experienced this yourself! People in the US, broadly speaking, can be quite judgemental for sure. And when productivity is so heavily emphasized, as it is here, hobbies really can fall by the wayside.

I liked the sleepwalking it was a challenge sometimes but I usually found my way around it made it more realistic but for Henry saying he can't leave yet or without Sir Radzig saying it's okay. Great video. I long wanted realistic historical non-fantasy AAA RPG, so when KCD was announced, it became my dream game - and as a bonus it was made by legendary czech developers, set in our country and made on Cryegine 3. Then of course it was necessary to wait for 4 years before it released, and another year for all patches, DLCs and hardcore mode...and finally in 2019 I played it and it was exactly what I hoped for. In my TOP3 favourite games ever, alongside (not better or worse) Red Dead Redemption 2 and Witcher 3. That sait it did have few flaws and your KCD2 wishlist is on point - combat lock-on camera is terribly clunky when fighting multiple people and facial animations were the one weakness of the game from graphical perspective. Its world still looks stunning today though. I expect KCD2 to be my GOTY this year, no contest.

Thanks so much!!! It's excitement like yours that is so contagious when it comes to KCD's community and the game hasn't left my thoughts since I began playing it. Also, that top 3 games of yours is MIGHTY! I remember thinking how beautiful the forests in KCD are when I first experienced them. So to learn that the look and feel of the world was not only intentional, but prioritized.. I was thrilled. Because this SHOULD mean KCD2 will take it to the next level! I'm already guilty of high expectations already haha

It’s certainly the level of immersion that people love or hate! Although I don’t think it’s as demanding as it sounds to be honest
@Dkclemons16 күн бұрын
It's really not as big of a deal as it sounds. Sharpening takes a few minutes, or you can use a blacksmith kit as long as you don't let the sword get too dull. Bathing can be done in a trough, which takes about five seconds. Troughs are everywhere, so keeping yourself clean enough is really just making sure to click on one of them on occasion. The main issue is hunger, and after a few perks it doesn't feel like a big deal anymore. Just check it on occasion and keep some dried food on you and that's not a big deal either. The game feels like a lot to keep track of in the beginning, but after a handful of hours it doesn't seem bad at all.
