Who is Last Epoch for?

After playing over 120 hours of Last Epoch, I decided to answer a couple questions about it...Who is this new top down APRG for? And what sets this game apart from it's competitors (Think Diablo 4, Path of Exile, Grim Dawn, etc)
I even gathered the help of our wonderful community to help answer these questions!

I can't think of any reason this game can't be enjoyed by everyone that likes ARPGs. It's very accessible. I'd recommend it for pretty much anyone that likes these games or wants to get into them. I can't wait for some new stuff to drop so that I can play more. I'm trying not to burn out on games anymore and I had already beaten the campaign twice before 1.0, and that isn't including the 50 or so hours messing with builds. I've never tried playing seasons like this so this is a first!

Well the great news is that new cycle has been announced for July 9th!! And good call changing it up so you don’t burn out too! My way of keeping it fresh until then will be to try new masteries!

I was thinking, ill play only one character per cycle not to burn out, since i played maybe 200 hours of EA. But it turns out, i cant wait that long with all the build ideas. I have already three characters in monoliths. But i am rotating more games so it helps keep them fresh even after all the time spend in them.

@@carrionette that's what I thought too lol. I'm really bad about starting new characters repeatedly until I'm tired of the game. That's why I rarely beat rpgs. I've probably played 500 hours in the original Baldur's Gate and still haven't beaten it.

@@Dkclemons1 I managed to finish BG1 once, BG2 Shadows of Amn i think i finished twice, Throne of Bhaal never. But i played it many many times from the beggining :D

@@carrionette beating it once is an accomplishment! One of my biggest video game regrets is not finishing BG and Planescape Torment. I loved both and just couldn't stop making new characters. ADHD, I guess.

I had like 150 h of great fun, but that's about it at the moment - endgame content is quite boring. But definately worth £35 thrice over. Class fantasy is fucking amazing.

The class fantasy is indeed incredible! There’s no denying the cycle is in that weird grey area right now. It looks like from their roadmap there will be new endgame content every patch so here’s to hoping that comes to fruition and continues to impress! Thanks for watching!!

While I find the endgame itself slow, i think I can see how it'll easily become more and more interesting as it gets tuned and gets interesting bosses.
