It was outstanding. So much heart from deeply flawed and human characters. The antithesis of modern Hollywood. They should show this as a paradigm of how good TV could be, in comparison to the drivel and 'content' we get today

I mean, it's definitely worth noting that, having just rewatched season 1, they *absolutely* call attention to how bizarre everyone else in-universe finds Will's sudden intense bond with and feeling of responsibility for Abigail, while Hannibal is shown spending a decent amount of time orchestrating that emotional reaction on Will's part. So, no, the show doesn't just expect us to believe that's a normal response - it's literally the opposite, the only person that thinks it's normal and healthy is Will because he's in the center of a ton of Mind Games he isn't even aware exist at that stage.

I actually forgot about Shae’s “a girl who was almost raped” line in relation to the incident with Gilly at Castle Black and her sleeping with Sam afterwards. That said, Gilly had already been building affection for Sam for what we can reasonably assume a much longer period of time compared to Tyrion. She’s not exactly a stranger to sexual abuse given how she got pregnant. The incident with the two Night’s Watchmen would’ve solidified in her mind that as long as she’s at Castle Black, the only safe place for her and her son is by Sam’s side. All these factors make Gilly and Sam’s night together more believable for me. She’s has no other safe place to go and she’s with a man with a proven history of looking out for her capped off with the events of earlier that night.

Also, couldn’t you just say the NCR was so desperate to take New Vegas BECAUSE their capital Shady Sands was destroyed???

Another thing that kind of annoyed me, ghost Deb went on and on how everyone dexter loves dies. So why is he in a romantic relationship? wouldn't ghost Deb push him away from that? I get storywise we probably needed a connection to the police and some new characters but dexter never felt "love" till Harrison birth and romantic love when he met Hannah, so why is he dating Angela? He didn't need the cover of a relationship because he wasn't killing, maybe he just wanted to be around the police, I don't know it's bothered me then it should.

My opinion is that season 5 is nothing more than a really long epilogue. Was there lots of fluff, but the end dialogue gives me just a little bit of closure to the awesome season 4. To me the season 5 epilogue is where I leave the series. Could never stomach 6, 7 or 8.

"Try try again" Did I miss something with that? How did they get the device back after the 1st incident? Who sets up the lights in the nuke tunnel? If the device itself survived the nuking, wouldnt it be horribly lethally irradiated at point blank to a nuclear detonation?

Not to be a total nerd, but the 'Ned Rolled a Nat 1 on Perception' jab isn't quite right. Ned is the only person besides Jon Arryn to find all the clues to Joff's parentage. For sure a Nat 1 on Insight, though.

Even with a ZVOX sound bar the dialog is impossible to understand most of the time, it always takes too much effort. I just wanted to love this show so much, but it gets worse and more silly as it goes on and flatspins into the toilet.

The only thing I disagree with here is that Dexter would kill Lyla and Doakes. Yes the number one rule of the code is to not get caught, but he would rather risk that then break his no killing innocents role for certain. Dexter isn't remorseless, he kills people because he enjoys it yes, but people often forget he has a conscience and can tell the difference between a guilty person and an innocent one.

Yeah tbh I feel the same way about how this show handled Tulip. She works great as the show's resident sane person and has great chemistry with the other characters, but the writers seemed to insist on having her just go about generic crime subplots. The show really shines when she's able to be along for the ride with Jesse and Cassidy.

I watched the first 3 seasons and fund the show really mid, most of the dialoge is incredibly cringe and the off commentary is always about how evil he is and how he has to keep his bad side hidden, it's so repetitive and emo cringe lord type of stuff.
