Thank you Sir, for this helpful instruction. My car stud 2 days outside in the rain and strong winds, but covered with a large plastic bag. With this video I managed do get my sunroof closed. "Save" again. As I saw, in a video apart, you also show how to make / to keep the sunroof operational again, but with the rear Part disabled / imobilised. That's what I will do in summer. Great video I have a very important question because I replaced the engine with another because of the smoke and misfire cylinder one but I opened the front caver for the timing chain I found the breather that connects to the tube to to the PCV is snapped off from the tube so the PCV wasn’t working at all the engine still with me I wanted to make sure is it possible to smoke alot with misfire when accelerating if it’s not working at all?

I have one that the rear one is stuck open. Is this the repair needed?

I have a problem with closing the rear inner panel (since the inner part of the roof consists of two sections). The glass moves as it should, but the rear inner part of the roof does not. What should I do???

Hello, I have a problem with my BMW GT5. A few days ago I disassembled the front ceiling light to replace the bulbs. I disconnected the entire module, and after connecting it, the sunroof, front/rear reading lights, and alarm stopped working. I checked the controller errors and there is a problem with the FZD _0x56 module. The car does not see the controller. I checked the fuses and they are all OK. Is it possible to assign/repair this module? Best regards.

Just did this on my 2014 740Li. I replaced the blower motor as well while everything was taken apart. $33 for the motor, $10 for the filter material.

I have lost the little tool. It is not a 4mm Allen Key nor a 5mm. I don't have a 4.5mm, or is it an imperial size (inch range)?

Could this just be a lubrication problem? I have a e53 x5 and it seems that the rear glass doesn’t go down because there is too much friction on the rails. I was thinking of puttin vaseline on those and moving them by hand to see if that would fix it, if not then I’m too going to disable the rear glass.

so i did this, but what happened to me, was that the blower motor would go on, but nothing through the vents. i replaced the wiring loom, regulator and blower motor. the blower motor goes on, but nothing through the air vents? what do you think would cause this

If anyone that disables the aft half of the roof, I could use the clip that drops out from the removal of the spring clip on the pax side. This clip of mine broke and is the reason my aft roof will not tilt. I did use this procedure to get the aft roof to lay flat but I’m not at the point of cutting the tabs off until i try to find this part. Of course you have to buy the entire rail assy to get a two dollar part!

If u drive in a sunny weather,with panoramic closed,does the sun iritate ur skin or something? I wanna buy an e61 with panoramic that doesnt have that opaque part.
