Print in demand is so dead guys. Don't waste your time. You'd make a lot more money just doing uber or something like that

Hi Greg thanks for the free content! I used your codes for the discount, worked great. My question is about teepublic. I've uploaded 22 designs to the site but the have me at pending. Apparently from what I read they need to review what I've uploaded. I've made a banner and wrote a bio attached social media sites as well as made albums. So at this point my designs aren't visible. On their site. I also read they look at if your designs are spamming with vectors or are using clip art. I know you said you use placeit for your designs and that's what I'm using also. Just would like confirmation that teepublic accepts those designs so I can be viewed on their site. Thanks in advance!

it looks like they've changed the layout on Merch Informer. Now it breaks up Amazon and Google into two different results

So many thoughts- why are Amazon merch mock ups so ridiculously ugly? Is the font really printed as big on the T-shirt as many mock ups look? I can’t believe they don’t want to check out your designs as part of the vetting process? But real talk- I’ll be applying soon as well 😂

Great video Greg. I'm still in the process of learning how to promote my niche POD products in my Shopify Store. (My "active" POD effort). Now you have just motivated to get this "passive" POD strategy up and running ASAP so there is a great chance of earning while I still get things going / moving in Shopify. I usually don't comment on YT vids, but I have to say I'm so happy the algorithm sent you. I've been dabbling in POD for sometime now without jumping in fully due to my demanding 9-5. But I just pulled the trigger and finally set up Printful & Etsy store this past Sunday to get things going. I had like 30+ designs I already created that was just sitting in Canva and I have an spreadsheet of more ideas I started as things spark/come to me during the day. I am grateful to you for simply addressing the nuances that kept me stuck. I'm not a fresh beginner, but still new enough that this info will save me time (and money perhaps). With the exception of Merch Informer and TeePublic - (literal game changers as I totally forgot about the font drama and was straight up googling each phrase I came up with), I have already heard of these sites and things. It was on my to do list this week to connect my Amazon seller store, but now I can go the merch on demand route instead. Thank you thank thank you thank you - I can proceed to flipping over these listings with even less anxiety 🙏🏾

How is the quality of the passive POD products? Like with Printify I was able to buy and test the quality of their shirts as well as the print and pick the shirt brand that I preferred, as well as the printshop. Can you select a printshop/product, or is there just one main printshop/brand? And then is the main site basically responsible for everything like customer reviews and stuff? Seems like on Amazon, if theyre the ones that mess up, your product is still gonna get the bad review, right? Also, seems like pod products on Amazon are usually not great quality.

What about spring?

I did everything you suggested in the video and got turned down after 7 days of being in review. I just set up another Amazon account with a different email address as you suggested. Fingers crossed I can get approved this time…

I've been in Amazon merch since 2015 and their IP restrictions on keywords and descriptions sucks. I mean, if your design isn't infringing I don't see why that other stuff matters so much. Also, they don't communicate well and good luck finding out why something was rejected. You need a third party tool to help with that stuff so that you can avoid it since every rejection is a mark on your account and if you get too many you can get canned. 😢 You also never know what your account status with regard to that is. It's hidden from you. All that being said no site compares to Amazon. I've done all the others and I've made pennies on all of them combined compared to thousands on Amazon. I wish there was another one like Amazon for traffic and earning potential but there isn't. If you think you're going to go up on Amazon and make designs that mimic brands and other popular IP you won't last long. The competition on Amazon is astounding so you have to know how to get seen. The P4P and other art crooks are also there and Amazon doesn't do enough to stop it. I've also seen many of my designs stolen and sold on Etsy and other sites.
