Mr. Vreeland, thank you for this video. I was wondering how you got into soundtrack creation yourself? I've been managing my music channel for a few years now but I'm unsure of how to reach more people.

Thank you for this really insightful talk! It is going to be immensely helpful for my last year as a student, making my way into the industry. By coincidence, I not long ago started working on a game audio concept design guide, and this couldn't have come at a better moment for me.

Thanks for sharing, surprisingly I found it's very identical to my approach. When I was looking back my bottleneck of composing, I realize that not finding an instrument that suit the song instantly breaks my flow, so I always start collecting sounds, instruments, effects first. Every year, I would export my random ideas to wav files, so it's easy to browse through. I want to but have not worked on a trailer music yet, it's hard to do it when the trailer team is entirely outsourced, it's easier to let them find stock music that works. By the way, I actually got two of your CDs, "Rise of the Obsidian Interstellar" and "Atebite and the Warring Nations". I have never been to USA, but one of my friend who is a frequent conference goer gifted to me.

Hi ! I could be wrong (it has been a super long time) but I think it's happening on every key press, it maybe just doesn't sound that way because of the reverb and the very long attack/release times.

Watching this in 2024! I still use Massive in my projects. Yes, technically Serum, Vital, and Pigments have superseded the feature set of Massive, but the plugin strikes a perfect balance between flexibility and immediacy for me. I've never used that Random param - great idea!

This feels like a intimate look into the mind of a generative ai, letting us examine it's workings from a more detached perspective. Looking at it like this makes it seem both far stupider and far more intelligent than I previously knew. I realize now that AI can create art that isn't derivative after all, it just doesn't look like anything I've ever experienced before. Of course I don't know how much of a human hand went into the video, it seems like probably a ton. If that is the case that just makes it hold more value in my mind as a great piece of social commentary
