"What a good solid knob that is" lmao.. But in all seriousness, your videos are fantastic. I have some items that need repair, I don't know if you would be willing to take a look maybe someday. All the best, Danny.

Hi Mark. You seem to the world champ. Have you got any HIFI gear of your own?

It's a shame that Mitsubishi hadn't made this tape deck as they would have used coax cables maybe wire wrapping the cables..., excellent job Mark 😁

Would love to have a board of the "bluetooth silencer"...do you sell them ? Better if assembled since it's a "one time only" project.

I got acquainted with fusible resistors after I acquired a Sansui receiver. Fortunately, the issue was well documented and I didn't have to do any sleuthing.

Do yo uthink that micro bubble and particles under the tape may affect the heat exchange? I would preffert to attach them directly with paste.

Someone mentions a superheterodyne receiver and suddenly I'm transported back to 1975 at the City and East London college.

After watching many videos of yours, lately, I collected some courage and opened up my old turntable, a Pioneer PL112D, and I refurbished it slightly. It needed a pulley cleanup and a suspension adjustment (the plate was scratching onto the frame, especially when loaded with 180g vinyls, and it ran quick and higher pitch when on 33rpms). Now my attention should be turned to the very occasional buzzing at startup

question? Does the rewind motor drop in voltage when in play mode? Mine in rewind ff or rw is 6.5v 7.0v but play it 3.2 so it stops before it eats the cass tape.

I have to say it... You are fucking awesome. Yes the F word was required here. You make knobs! What others do not do. Brilliant!
@mikecantwell7716 сағат бұрын
Apparently £900 for this amp. The build quality mustn't be that great because there's a distinct the lack of loose rattling bits of alien technology that you'd expect to find in a more premium amp at, say, £25k. You get what you pay for?
@MarcBeland16 сағат бұрын
Thoroughly and efficiently repairs the amp.... needs a couple of knobs to complete the restoration? Heads over to the lathe.... Yeah, that's gonna be a sub from me, dog!!

Property Lawyer here, not a patent attorney or copyright practitioner. It is a bit thin but maybe the reverse engineered schematic falls foul by being accurate. You are not copying the schematic directly, but it could be argued that recreating the schematic is in essence copying. Anyway: thumbs up and subbed.
