I just bought this printer, I don't know why, but the printing color is not bright like this & it's brand new. Definitely not bright like yours. So disappointed.

Watching this since there isn't any real instructions included. And was surprised when you said Hadley. That's my youngest daughters name, too! Just thought that was a fun fact. 😊

That is so cute! And that wagon you made should be kept as a memory to pass down. Your kids can tell their grandkids how their mother which would be their great grandmother made that wagon! That would be an amazing thing.

when u choose glossy photo paper lets say,and the canons glossy photo paper is 260gm,and your "other" paper is lets say 200,is this important or the printers just needs to know the icc profile and adjust itself for the thicknes ??

Hi, question, why didnt you print using the auto duplex feature?
@HawkFest
@HawkFest 2 ай бұрын
Because this printer ALWAYS barfs its ink on the second side whenever you use the dual-side feature. Never the 1st side, always the second. I don't know why, but it was designed to punish you whenever you want to print 2-sided business cards or whatnot on cardstock. I hate it.

Thank you for sharing. I had gotten away from using elastic string years ago because it usually broke after a while. I like the idea of threading it through again so there are two strands, and using the Hypo-Cement to secure the knot. Now I'm trying it again.

I’m so taken aback! I ended up here looking for a way to embroider with a punch needle my current store bought stockings. I think making our small family some stockings is on the agenda this year! You made it much less daunting!! Thanks so much for sharing!!

Wow. Just wow. I just watched the whole series and I was blown away by your attention to detail, your problem solving, and the final product… its just *chef’s kiss*. I mean you got it right when you said these are heirloom quality. They are beyond beautiful! From the design, to the materials, to the color choices, to the execution, just 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 WELL DONE! I realized this year that my stockings are all kind of cheap looking, store bought stockings and I had the idea to make my own and started looking around for ideas and also really loved the punch needle look. Then I came to KZbin and landed on your videos and wow. They were a joy to watch. What a true labor of love, 10 months! I saw you finishing your stocking up around Halloween 😂 it’s really amazing that you followed through until the end and yes they look ABSOLUTELY AMAZING all hanging up together. I bet you were so excited to see them again this year and remember all the time and thought you put into them! It was inspiring and it makes me feel like I could do it too. One last thing I wanted to point out that you mentioned a few times was breaking the project down into moments that you thought were fun or easier to manage. So like doing the character first and seeing that come to life and then breaking sections down into smaller parts so you could feel like you accomplished them. Focusing on those little feelings of accomplishment is such an important part of the artists journey in a project and I so often forget about that! But I think that mindset definitely helped you get through 7 of those amazing labor intensive stockings. Thanks for mentioning that during the process because I think I needed to hear that. Anyway I know it’s been a year since you made these but congrats, they truly are special and I hope whatever I come up with will be half as beautiful as what you’ve created! Merry Christmas to you and your family ❤

I don't know if this thread is still active, but if anyone knows where I can purchase reasonably priced, gold "filled" not "plated" spacer beads, can you please, please share the link. It seems most are gold plated, which is beautiful, until you wear them for a little while and then tarnishes quickly. A lot of vendors advertise them as gold filled, but they really aren't. I am trying to start a very small business and don't want to sell customers something that tarnishes fast. I want repeat customers and good reviews. I have searched so hard and don't have funding to buy from multiple vendors trying to find authentic spacers. If anyone has tried/tested them, your help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
