Wow. Just wow. I just watched the whole series and I was blown away by your attention to detail, your problem solving, and the final product… its just *chef’s kiss*. I mean you got it right when you said these are heirloom quality. They are beyond beautiful! From the design, to the materials, to the color choices, to the execution, just 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 WELL DONE! I realized this year that my stockings are all kind of cheap looking, store bought stockings and I had the idea to make my own and started looking around for ideas and also really loved the punch needle look. Then I came to KZbin and landed on your videos and wow. They were a joy to watch. What a true labor of love, 10 months! I saw you finishing your stocking up around Halloween 😂 it’s really amazing that you followed through until the end and yes they look ABSOLUTELY AMAZING all hanging up together. I bet you were so excited to see them again this year and remember all the time and thought you put into them! It was inspiring and it makes me feel like I could do it too. One last thing I wanted to point out that you mentioned a few times was breaking the project down into moments that you thought were fun or easier to manage. So like doing the character first and seeing that come to life and then breaking sections down into smaller parts so you could feel like you accomplished them. Focusing on those little feelings of accomplishment is such an important part of the artists journey in a project and I so often forget about that! But I think that mindset definitely helped you get through 7 of those amazing labor intensive stockings. Thanks for mentioning that during the process because I think I needed to hear that. Anyway I know it’s been a year since you made these but congrats, they truly are special and I hope whatever I come up with will be half as beautiful as what you’ve created! Merry Christmas to you and your family ❤

These look wonderful! I’ve had my punch needle for almost a year and I’ve been too nervous to use it, but now I’m inspired! Thanks for the tutorial!

I’m so taken aback! I ended up here looking for a way to embroider with a punch needle my current store bought stockings. I think making our small family some stockings is on the agenda this year! You made it much less daunting!! Thanks so much for sharing!!
