Hi, thank you for sharing and I have been searching for a new printer and debated on which Canon model to purchase. I was looking at the TR8620A and the TS9521C and TS9520. Which one do you recommend for printing quality photos and using with my Cricut? I noticed you have several printers and switched depending on what you were doing but is there one that can most things? Thank you :)

when u choose glossy photo paper lets say,and the canons glossy photo paper is 260gm,and your "other" paper is lets say 200,is this important or the printers just needs to know the icc profile and adjust itself for the thicknes ??

Hi, first of all thank you for this video, it was really fun to watch that you can do so much more with printers then the normal paper prints. Can you also use these printers to print on thicker cardboard of like 3 to 4mm thick by any change? Keep up the good work.

Thanks so much for this! I have the Canon TS 9521c and I love it. HOWEVER, I am an artist focusing on making postcards only, not folding cards. I use 160# paper and it works beautifully but any suggestions on how not to have have to babysit hundreds of cards? Or at least to be able to put more than 2 or 3 without a 'paper has run' out error? After cleaning the rollers, etc, it makes no difference. I shuffle the blanks like a deck of cards, try to fan/stack them. Is it just a tradeoff for being able to print 160# paper? Ugh.

Thank you for this wonderful video! So many fun crafts, (and so little time!) I'm actually looking at two of the printers that you own! I'm trying to decide which one will work better for me - the Canon Pixma TS9521C or the Canon Pixma TR 8620. They both get great reviews on Amazon. The first one prints 12x12, the second one doesn't but seems to have a little better photo quality from the reviews. I want a good crafting printer to do the same things you're doing, and to use with my Silhouette, but also want one that prints out great looking photos on good quality photo paper. If you could only choose one of the ones I listed above, which one would be the best overall? Also, do you know which one uses up more ink? Thanks! Sorry this was a book!

Hi Kathy! They are both fantastic printers so it really comes down to the price for each one and what you want to do with it. My TS9521C is my daily printer for everything, it's the one right next to my computer currently. The 8620 is smaller and a hair quicker at printing, but it doesn't print 12x12 like you said, and I absolutely love having that option. I also have the iP8720, which is my all-time favorite printer ever. It prints up to 13x19 and has the most fabulous photo printing quality. If you are truly on the fence, I'd go with the TS9521C!

I thought the copy/scan feature could come in handy. Though I could buy the iP8720 for my hubby as a 'Birthday gift' later on, to replace his old printer! :)

hello! do you know if the canon pixma mg3670 is able to print on shrink film? the way the printer accepts the paper is a bit weird so i’m kind of concerned

I recommend rear-feed printers for shrink film since it's so thick. Bending around a cassette roller is not ideal.

Greetings. If I am not mistaken it looks as if you have a canon pixma g3260 wireless megatank all in one printer. If so, this is the one I am thinking of purchasing, because I am done with cartridges. I have been researching as to whether this cannon will print on Kraft tex. Do you have some of this product and have you tested it on this or your other printers? If so would you let me know how it does. Your video is the closest I have come to a real answer to my question. I even contacted Canon. Thank you for this video.

@@Somethingturquoise I am sorry I do not know the thickness precisely, however, I have just purchased some cardstock that is 110 lb and I would say they are about the same. I would also like to know if the ink is dye based or pigment. I am looking for pigment based ink. Thank you

@@phenomenal_woman Cartridges beginning in PG are Pigment-based and CL or CLI are Dye-based. So depending on the Canon printer you choose, you can see based on the cartridge requirement!

I have the Pixma TS9521C and Im having so much trouble with printing on the waterproof sticker paper (the one for water bottles). My colors keep coming out translucent and I have no idea how to make my colors appear opaque! What am i doing wrong?

Hi Brandy, that sounds really strange. Translucent huh? I have never had that issue. Make sure when you are printing on that paper that you pick the highest quality "glossy" and I guess that your ink cartridges are full.

Hi there, I'm pretty sure all of the PIXMA printers that have the "rear tray" loading option will handle that paper no problem. I know for a fact my Canon ImageClass laser printer will not take it though.

Hi Octavia, I would say yes but proceed with caution. Start with thick cardstock through the rear tray and then expand from there!
