Thanks. It's cool of you to follow the path here to help me out with that. Their WCW DLC update broke my game though and I haven't been able to even launch it since. I spent about 4 hours doing things to fix it, and it turns out its just a problem some people have now. So I might be finished with the game all together. Maybe I'll try to launch it after each major patch they bring out to see if the problem is fixed. I had fun with the game though.

Sounds like a pretty similar experience to what I had when I first played Daggerfall Unity. I have no idea how to help anyone with the default non-Unity Daggerfall controls. I gave up on the game, and luckily I came back to it since it's pretty amazing. Makesure 'click to attack' is checked in the box when you first boot up the game. When you attack, your attacks should work after doing that. Also the point of the starter dungeon is to die a lot and learn. Think of it as a roguelike. The game gets easier once you get out of that starter dungeon. That dungeon is in ways its own game.

@@THIBS3393 when you first launch Daggerfall Unity make sure the box ”click to attack” is checked. It's on the very first screen when you boot the game up.

@@OgOssman The base game is free as well. You can either download the free base game on Steam and then get the mods for it, or you can download the free base game from GOG and it comes with a nice selection of mods already installed.

@@Yes-Bean The graphics on this game are already great. I bought Shadow of the damned the next day, and man those graphics really aged. They also fixed the draw distance on this version. You can watch a couple of videos.

I've been busy for the last month, and I just got around to making this video. This channel isn't about whats current most of the time, its about which things I feel like speaking about/playing when I sit down to the mic. I still think if I already had a PS5, I'd wait for the PS6. Unless I went to the trouble to sell my PS5 and put the money towards a PS5 Pro. I'd rather just buy a cheaper current gen console that did things the PS5 does now. That's just me.

You're setting up a strawman and arguing against a point I never made. If you feel I did, give me the timestamp. Obviously the PS5 Pro is an option and everyone on the planet isn't forced by Sony to buy it. Just like most things on the global market. Some things are still rip-offs despite being options. My commentary in this video stated that if you have a regular PS5 already and want another console, it makes more sense to buy a console that isn't a version of the PS5 that plays the same games, and isn't much of a step up in class besides being better at rendering graphics and FPS. And for those gamers it might make more sense to buy a cheaper console that does different things than what they already have. You brought up gaming PC and graphics cards. I'd make the same comments if someone bought a gaming PC for $1K, and then a slightly better version of that same PC released by the same makers, yet it cost $1.5K. I'd tell them a better option since they have that PC already is to go buy something cheaper like a PS5 (even Pro), a Nintendo Switch, or Xbox. If you have an arguement against any points I've actually made, I'm open to hearing them. You might be right. I have an open mind, and I'd be willing to take down this video and make one saying the PS5 Pro is a great deal for people who already have a regular PS5 or PS5 Slim, if you can first understand my arguements and then convince me with yours.

I didn't recommend gamers go anywhere. I gave listed prices, and then named different options for gamers. I've never owned an Xbox. I grew up with PS1 and stuck to PlayStation until I moved to PC. You'll find no Xbox videos on this channel in over 470 videos. To my memory this is also the first video where I've ever mentioned any version of the PS5. I've played a lot of PS2 and some PS3 on the channel. To your point about PC being digital only... that's just not true. You can still buy gaming PCs with disk drives. I can still put old disks into my modern PC and play them. I have not lost access my back library of PC disk games. As for your point about the 2TB Xbox, that's also a good option for people who already have PS5s who want a new console. It's also $100 cheaper than the PS5 Pro, though not as powerful. For anyone who already has an Xbox and wants another console, I'd tell them the same thing I told the Sony gamers in this video... it might make more sense to go with a PS instead since you can already play the current Xbox games. I don't know what stating options for people is an issue. I'm also telling most people what they already know.

@ArachnidSoul mate I agree I'd rather go pc then spend 700 on a mid gen refresh, it was just at the start you were mentioning no disk drive, but you can only buy pc games digitally so it's a bit of a contradiction I thought. But no biggie, keep posting and il keep watching

​@@FindingMorons That's good news. That usually takes place when a new version of a console comes out and the original version gets older. We see this on both consoles, PCs, and handheld gaming devices like Steam Deck. For the people who have not previously had PS5s and will now get cheaper PS5's as a result, I'm happy for them. Those people might also want to spend the extra money instead and get a PS5 Pro. The point of the video is that for people who already have PS5's and want another console, it makes more sense to get something different. Most gaming options are cheaper than the PS5 Pro, and for the people who want something different and don't mind paying more, they might want to go with a gaming PC. For someone who has no gaming console and wants a PS5, I'd go with a cheaper model, but they might want to go with the PS5 Pro. For people who have a PS5 already and want a Pro, they have the option of selling off the default PS5 and putting the money towards a Pro if they don't mind the process.

I have a Steam Deck and I know it cost more to make than I paid Valve for it. Like you said, they know they will turn a profit from game sales. One thing I felt when I was a console gamer, and have heard console gamers say is they like consoles in part because PC gaming is too expensive. Console makers have leaned into that as a selling point for decades. The price of a good PC has come way down, while the price of a good console is going up. Gamers would be more ok with paying the $700 for a new generation of PlayStations, but not an upgrade if they already have a PS5. Obviously some will and already have. My arguement in this video that the PS5 Pro is not a good deal if you already own a PS5 and are looking to buy another console. I feel that it would make more sense to save hundreds of dollars and go with a Steam Deck, Switch, Xbox of some sort... and also a gaming PC is an option, though it might cost more than a PS5 Pro. You make a good point about buying console games for $70 and then selling them. It's a good model, and it lets people get used games cheaper, which is nice. I did the same thing when I was on console, though 95% of the time I wanted to keep all my games. Since I've been on PC the last decade I can only count 3 or 4 games I've even paid $60 for. I've never paid $70 for a game in my life. Many of my PC games have been in cheap bundles or bought in Steam Sales. Skyrim was $5, and Mass Effect Legendary was maybe $15. I paid $13 for GTA 5, Borderlands 3, and EA Football Club 2024. On console I had maybe 50 games. I have over 700 now on PC and got the bulk of them at more than fair prices. I can't imagine the total I would have paid on console.

@@ArachnidSoul getting Skyrim at $5 is a good deal for sure. I'm I'm confident that was for the special edition and not the anniversary edition. But still a good deal. I've been PC gaming myself my whole life as well for the majority of it. What I have found is that games that are currently relevant both the console and steam have very comparable sales and deals in terms of price. It's not very often now that I see a brand new game suddenly on sale for $20 on steam and it's still 70 on the console. Usually they seem to match each other very closely. And even Skyrim special edition has been on sale for six to $10 on consoles as well. I don't really think that anyone with the PS5 base model shouldn't upgrade to the pro. GameStop offers $350 trade-in value for a PlayStation 5 right now making the total cost of their PlayStation 5 pro only $350. This isn't something people talk about, which is an oversight a Big one at that. After all if somebody upgraded to the PS5 pro they wouldn't just leave their PS5 base model just sitting there. So anyone with the PS5 will roughly only have to pay $350 to $400 depending on their version they trade in. The only problem I really have with the PlayStation 5 is how expensive the controllers are and how prone to stick drift they are. I for one was simply take mine apart and solder on hall effect joysticks when and if that ever happens. If you've ever paid $70 for a game then you must not be buying any of the new games that have been coming out. There are many of them that are 70 on steam. If the game is 70 on a console it will be on steam as well on launch. Well it's true steam tends to have more sales in general, it's also important to note that steam is not going to suddenly make a 60 or $70 brand new game 10 or $20 a week later. You don't really see those kind of deals until a year later. The deals that will happen within that time might be 10 or $20 off. But the console will usually get those kind of same deals as well. Now many can argue that the PC might be cheaper in the end because you have to pay for the PlayStation live experience. But most of these people have very expensive computers. For example just a 4080 alone covers the cost of a PlayStation 5 pro and years of PlayStation live. Just a graphics card alone. I don't really think computers offer a more value-based experience, I still believe that 100% goes to the consoles when it's not even close. Especially when you consider that you can trade in your games to put towards another game, suddenly the price of your games become $10 whereas on steam a new game is still going to be 70 or 60. Of course PC has its perks as well. I don't think value is one of them nor has it ever been. I still believe and through my years of experience these steam sales are games that have been out for over a year or two. PC can offer more modding if you're into that. Even though it tends to lead to a more unstable gameplay experience but it is there if you want to have fun. Of course if you work for Pixar you can use your computer to generate animated scenes for upcoming films if that's what you do. What that said I don't think most people don't have a laptop sitting around. So I believe that argument is not as worthwhile, and is a bit overstated. I use both PC and PlayStation including all retro consoles. The PlayStation offers at coherent and consistent and refined experience over the PC. You're not using a ton of different launchers, you're not dealing with steams very boring experience or steams big picture mode which crashes, has issues when launching games because launchers will launch within the launcher. And of course as digital foundry has pointed out recently even though you're getting a higher frame rate or better graphics a lot of the PC games that are ported from consoles 10 to have stutters or just run worse overall regardless of frame rate AKA frame time. Both have their strengths and both have their weaknesses. If done right I believe the PlayStation 5 pro is absolutely an amazing value for what you're actually getting. And anyone who wants to upgrade to a PlayStation 5 pro only need trade in their old one

I could be wrong, but I think right now that's about $47 USD. So about the same price as the US. People deserve to get paid, but the game really should cost maybe $30 AUD/$20 USD. Someone wouldn't be wrong to suggest it should be cheaper than that.

@@ArachnidSoul Yep agreed It doesn't even come with multiplayer all your paying really is $40 more for just a higher resolution and frames. It does come with undead nightmare but I'm pretty sure that DLC was like $9 AUD if I remember. People shouldn't have to pay more than the original release price for a game that came out 14 years ago.

The PS5 Pro is basically just a better version of the PS5. What I said in the video was to people who already own a PS5. To them I was saying it's a ripoff to pay $700 for the PS5 if they want another console instead of going with a different console for cheaper or a gaming PC for more. It plays the same games as the console they already have. If they sold their current PS5 and used the money to offset the cost of a PS5 Pro, that's a different story and makes some sense (not that I'd personally go to the trouble). For someone who had no console at all and wants a PS5, it's a better deal for them to just go with a base edition PS5 over the Pro. They would also have the option of going for a used/refurbished PS5 and save even more money if they want to.

I'm happy it's finally going to be on console too. Let's hope for good sales not too long after its PC launch. I will miss playing Liar's Dice in the casino with friends online though.

They'll even modify the BIOS of a weaker card to where it still says it's a 4070. Nvidia themselves won't sell it that cheap, and that is wholesale. You're not getting a 4070 for $260 buddy. If you did buy one for that that's supposed to be brand new You were ripped off I suggest you do a few benchmarks and compare them with others on KZbin of the same setup.

Thanks for the compliment on my voice. I've never monetized a video on this channel and I've made over 450 of them, so there is no business plan or thought about what will make money. This channel is just about me having a creative outlet, speaking my mind on different things, and putting nice things up for people to watch/hear. Out of the 450+ videos I bet I've made 15-20 where I had a problem with something. The others were all things I liked and felt like speaking about. I went out of my way to explain my positions in this video (as I always do), so people don't think I'm loving something pointlessly or just hating something for no reason. I also didn't just compare the PS5 Pro to a PC. I provided the cheaper options of a Steam Deck, Xbox Series S/X, and Nintendo Switch to people who already have a default PS5 and want to buy another console. Obviously a gaming PC with the specs of the PS5 Pro is going to cost more than the $700-$800 you would pay for the PS5 Pro, the stand if you wanted it, and the ($80) PS5 Disc Drive For PS5/PS5 Pro Digital Slim Console. Which is why I proposed the option of people could get a less expensive PC and upgrade it slowly as they had the money. You might have to pay $200 or $300 more to get a gaming PC as good as the PS5 Pro, but you might save money in the long run on games going with the gaming PC, since PC games go on sale more, and bottom out faster than console games usually. Again... all of these suggestions and comments I make only to people who already have a PS5 and want another console.

I expect the PS6 to cost more than a PS5, and have no problem with that. Even if it costs $800, it would be a new console that plays new games. I also understand that you can buy a PC or a car and it will cost you more than $700 usually, but that doesn't have anything to do with the price of a PS5 Pro. There are always goods that cost more than other goods, yet some stuff in the world can still be overpriced. You can also buy a default PS5 for less money (even less if you buy used) and play the same games you can on the PS5 Pro. I asked a couple questions in the video, and I'll ask you again here. Who is the PS5 Pro for? Also if someone already has a PS5 and they want another console why should they pay for a PS5 Pro instead of going with a different console they don't own already, which would also be cheaper than the PS5 Pro? Especially knowing PS5 Pro eliminates the ability to ever buy used games, which are cheaper. Which means a massive hidden cost for good to anyone who buys a PS5 Pro. Meaning all game prices will be set by Sony, without the option of game store discounts or friends gifting you the copy they got bored of.

A 4060 ti, a 12th gen intel cpu and 32gb ram doesn't cost 1000 dollars, even after you add a motherboard, power supply, liquid cooling and a solid PC case it still wouldn't even break 800 dollars and for that money you get more efficient performance and better airflow\cooling so it won't run as hot as a ps5\pro. And that cpu is much better than the ps5 pro lol. GPU is about on par but because it is not being bottlenecked by a bad cpu it will perform better. 4060 ti is roughly half the price of the ps5 pro itself, and the gpu is the most expensive part of a pc. Everything after a GPU is usually a lot cheaper, unless you want an overkill cpu for gaming because you do other stuff like editing.

Inflation is a mofo. Even my PC cost 3500. PS5 Pro is cheap. The real cost is PSN. ANyway, got mine on preorder, boys, LETS GO!

RDR 2 was a great game. We had to wait a while on PC, but it was worth the money.
