Bret Hart is the reason I watched wrestling in the first place Bret made me believe that wrestling is real and this shows his great talent

Bret was the reason I started watching wrestling as well. Where Bret went, I went.

@12:20 that back breaker was brutal

Yeah these animations are clean now. You can feel some of these moves when you play the game now. The focus on sound design also helps.

Great video. I liked hearing your perspective on this and how you became a Bret fan.

Thanks. This is a video I really should have made long ago. What an oversight on my part to not tell the story of how I became a fan of wrestling & Bret.

Thx for giving the flowers to the OG Cruiserweights from all over the world. Good job as always. Should've covered modern Bret shoots. I penned an answered on Discord as well.

So many great cruisers have come down the pike over the years. Thanks for the kind words.

Gotta go with Bruno Sammartino. Without those blue collar, working-class italian $$$ Vince Sr. and Vince Jr. don't have a wrestling promotion. DISCLAIMER: i'm not Italian.
@ArachnidSoul9 ай бұрын
I agree with that, but Bruno didn't have the best matches. Bret could have a classic with a can.
@905JimRaynor9 ай бұрын
@@ArachnidSoul i think Bruno could put on a good match with anyone. At 52, Bruno was selling out every arena in the north east fighting the Honky Tonk Man. The Honky Tonk Man was a horrible wrestler. Bruno Sammartino was a big reason why the Honky Tonk Man got so big as a heel. The Honky Tonk Man was super mediocre and Bruno put him over as a monster heel. Also , Bret Hart's career ended at age 42. Bruno spent far more time at the top than Bret. Bruno was on top for decades Hart was part of a group of wrestlers at the top tier for 6 years. Bret was no where near as good of a draw as Bruno. Wrestlemania12 did not sell out and the crowd was dead.

Statistically Hitman was 54-3 career wise against HBK.

Can't say Bret is better than Kurt, Benoit, or Hennig.
@ArachnidSoul9 ай бұрын
Even Kurt Angle has said Bret Hart was a better pro wrestler than he is. Kurt is amazing, and hes on that list of top guys ever. So is Benoit. He's maybe my second favorite wrestler as well. Hennig is very overlooked by people when they have this conversation. He was great too, but I don't think he was quite as good as Bret.

@@ArachnidSoul Kurt is a very modest guy. Can you show me a match where Bret did a Moonsault? If you can show me where he did more intricate aerials than crossbody and a 1st or 2nd rope axehandle, I could say he could be on par with Angle.
