Mafia 1 Remake, on which the devs worked on it for around 2 years: 40 Euro!! (20 only if you bought the Mafia Trilogy Pack instead!!!) RDR 1 PC/PS4 port 14 years later, on which the devs probably only worked on for half a year: 50 Euro!! Seems Legit!

I don't know much about the Indian economy or the buying power of the Indian Rupee, but in American USD $30 would be a more fair price for this game port. I still think it should be $20, but $30 would be better than $50 US.

@@mondodimotori If it was a remaster in the RDR2 engine I would happily to pay $60-$100 Easily.. But $50 for a 14 year old port of the game, that they removed the Online mode from, it's not worth it, especially after the mockery of the "Remastered" GTA San Andreas they brought out. I have nearly 2000 hours in RDR2, I'm on my 4th replay of the Story & I am level 300 in the Online mode which they have let hackers run riot in for years & then just abandoned it. I love Rockstar as much as the next gamer, but come on... That's all I am saying😊

@@mondodimotori You might be putting the horse before the cart. PC players were more than happy to pay full price for GTA 5 when it came out. Those same people might not pay $50-$60 for a console port of the game if it were just coming to PC now.

UPDATE! I read that it's coming with graphics improvements and in one way, it is actually 2 games for 50$. It's true that it will only have single player. So it will come out without any visual improvements? I mean, I seen some videos of this game, where the graphics is really bad. So I'm kind of hoping that this will not be the case. I get it, some of my favourite games are from playstation 1&2. I bought them on my PC out of nostalgia. But the graphics just makes it unplayable 😅

It's not so much 2 games as it's one game and the zombie DLC that came out for it. For $50 Rockstar really isn't doing us any favors by tossing in the DLC on a 14 year old port of a game. Obviously the game will look better on PC than I did on those older consoles, the same way games do if you emulate them on PC, but as far as I know there has been no complete game texture overhaul. This is more or less a high priced side project by Rockstar. I dare not bring up the old GTA PC stuff they did in 2021.

@@ArachnidSoul I get it. But to be honest, I waited many years for rdr2 to drop on sale and I mean I finished it, but I never played it. Then I heard that there is this and what, that too!? Spaceship, tree king, getting raped by an hill billie and a lot more stuff. felt like I was missing out. Went right back and started playing it again. Still doing so. So much to discover. I don't have time for RDR1, even if I probably would understand rdr2 more if I played it. Ah man. I just thought about something. Imagine if I bought nr1, played it and then started all over with rdr2. I would have no life to return to after 😅

I remember about a decade ago on PS3 you could get the base game and the Undead Nightmare DLC together for pretty cheap as well. May have been $20. I can't remember, but it wasn't full base game price + full DLC price.

You have a version that is sub 30 fps sub 720p and just sub par with its awful controls. I'm running at 144 fps, 1440p, ultra settings, and can aim without a mouse. Controllers suck for this game. The best part of the combat are the physics and detail of shooting. Not the easiest to do on this game from console. Most people had to play undead nightmare on casual to get headshots cuz aiming with the controller is so bad.

It's a great game but when you pay $50 for it, and then finish that single player campaign, without the ability to go online, play casino games or do missions with friends you might ask yourself why you didn't wait a bit. It might be available cheaper then too. At that point you might also be hearing a lot of talk about the new BioWare Dragon Age 'The Veilgaurd' and how the company is finally back to what we saw from it during its Baldur's Gate, Mass Effect glory days... with a game that wont cost much more than the RDR port.

I know people who emulate the game on PC can already play it with enhanced graphics at 60 FPS. I'd hope the new PC port from Rockstar would run at 60 FPS. If they did nothing to the graphics besides put it on PC, it would already look better than it did on PS3 and Xbox 360. A texture overhaul of every texture in the game would have been a nice thing from them, but I don't expect it. Maybe modders will do that later.

I could be wrong, but I think right now that's about $47 USD. So about the same price as the US. People deserve to get paid, but the game really should cost maybe $30 AUD/$20 USD. Someone wouldn't be wrong to suggest it should be cheaper than that.
