Mine is hardwired but the doorbell hardly works. Service is horrendous. Considering replacing it with a regular doorbell instead. Do not recommend.

I’ve been in contact with aqara who are useless.. The batteries die after 2 days of use and when I downloaded the aqara app it tried to update the firmware and failed now the camera won’t even turn on.. it’s a piece of garbage

Sure is nice with some smart automation. I would ask if possible that to delay that Fan / AC turn of timer like "if door / vindow open for more then 20sec or so, due to turning on and off electronics might be a bad thing?! But most smartthings we are able to set our own routines to fit our needs. Some nice demo system you guys got there, I'm Fan!

@aqara this sensor is such a disappointment. These influencers don’t know shit about its issues or don’t say the issues out loud. What’s the point of having this if it stops detecting you after a few minutes if you remain in one place? Furthermore, if someone walks in while you are there, there’s a very high chance your presence gets replaced by that person and when the person walks out the sensor thinks the space is now empty switching off all lights leaving you in the dark! And like a PIR sensor you end up getting up waving arms like an idiot to bring the lights back on and the cycle returns after a few minutes! FP2 didn’t have this shitty issue in the past and one of your updates ruined the shit out of it. Please deal with it! I have bought 9 of these and I’ve not installed the last 5 as I’m planning to return them coz of this silly bug.

@@AqaraAre you doing anything to FP2’s issues with disappearing people? When I stay in one place watching tv, after a few minutes it stops detecting me out of no where and therefore as per my automation the lights switch off while I’m still there! Further more, if someone walks in, I get replaced by that person and when that person leaves the space, sensor thinks the room is empty although I’ve sat in one place, so as per the automation the light switches off while I’m still there. What’s the point of a mm sensor if it can’t detect your presence? These influencers don’t know shit about the faults of FP2 or don’t say it out loud so you won’t sponsor them anymore! FP2 is the most poorly executed sensor to date compared to what it boasts! Don’t get me wrong, I love Aqara, my home has close to 50 Aqara devices, but this is one annoying product of your company that I’ve come to hate. I have bought 9 FP2s, and I’ve not installed 5 of them still in the boxes as other 4 are quite disappointing so I might return the other 5. To be honest this disappearing act is a recent issue, otherwise I wouldn’t have bought the other 5.

This door locks from outside and key is used inside. This is made to keep the key inside so why not just have it turn the knob on normal persons door FROM THE INSIDE!

This door lock will inform you when battery levels are low, and you can always see the battery status on the app! As for your phone, your phone can STILL unlock the door while its dead :)
