The best era, yes players earned a lot more than most working men but there wasn't the gulf or remoteness that you have today, these guys still had an air of the everyman about them, it wouldn't be uncommon to bump into them having a quiet drink somewhere, and what a fantastic sweeping shot into Roker Park there

I have just come across your great channel. I am making a belated diary of my teenage years. I noticed you had a list of games in the 1970s from all the regions, but in the middle of the 70s videos I can’t find any lists of games. Is it possible if you have the lists for games from 1975/76 season till 1979 season. So I can add to diary. It’s just a personal diary of what I watched on TV at the time.

Were Spurs getting extra revenue from allowing cattle to graze on the pitch on non match days? Credit to the players for a commendable performance in such conditions.

The first world cup coverage I can remember as a 9 year old and still remember the theme music for the 46 years afterwards. I wish I could've remembered what I learnt at school more clearly but that's how my brain works unfortunately.
