13:28 I did the same thing my first time. I thought that the game would just naturally lead me to some area or npc that would take them. I got decently far into the game and figured that there was no npc and I just had to consume them. So I consumed the three that I had and actually believed they did something.

Demon Souls has a randomizer. At least the older version had one. I'm not 100% sure that there is a randomizer for the newer version, but i do think that there is one.

Seeing that Midra fight next to the tree, makes me think that the Frenzied Flame is meant to be more of a black-hole motif than only a fire. There's a few connections visually, quasars (Especially prevalent for the design of the Frenzied-Sniper Rifle incantation), typical black-holes themselves for the heads of lords, and their "firey" ring - if you will. And the way they feed on stars, looks somewhat like how the Frenzied Flame appears inside the Erdtree, for the ending it has. The Erdtree, which is known to be connected to the stars at least by the Elden Beast + Fingers. Also the design for the incantations, there are several ways to design fire attacks, but this time they look a bit close (Especially the icons for the incantations) to a solar flare - or something alike that black holes may likely have. Just an interesting (Imo) observation. Definitely allows for more appreciation of the art direction coinciding *very* well with the narrative they decided. The possessed beings you see are the result of some sort of skeletal-diver mimic that harms you if you look at it directly (ambush predator, man-sized). Doesn't seem to affect players much if they keep their back to it, but it's very unsettling nonetheless. Hang around the shallows and whenever you see a possessed diver/seamoth, look around for a stationary humanoid staring in your direction.

If you really want to boil your brain on a randomizer, do an enemy/item/fog randomizer (with all fogs turned on) and items on Hard mode. it will test your memory and game knowledge like nothing else
