W&S Bloodzerker vs Arishok(18 sec, Nightmare) - Dragon Age 2

If you like my videos, you can support the channel here: www.buymeacoffee.com/akisherceg 🍕 Thank you! :) Doing my two-handed Demon Hunter Trilogy run, and I'm a bit disappointed that there is no weapon for a two-handed warrior that the Arishok would be weak to. Well, Bloom obviously, but you only get that in Act 3. So that fight with the Arishok was mostly about good timing and positioning. It lasted around 6 minutes, similar to the Deathbringer. Which is why I figured I give this one a try. I re-speced my Golden Knight(W&S warriors have access to a nature based weapon), turned her into a Reaver-Berserker, and guess what? He annihilates the Arishok in 18 seconds. I did not even use the Adrenalin stacking(personally I find it annoying). Initially I just wanted this as an "Arishok Anihilator" for warriors, but she handled herself extremely well against the qunari/templar/undead hordes too(might upload more footage of her to my test channel). Swap that nature weapon with spirit, electricity or fire, and you can pretty much destroy everything in seconds.

@@legitplayin6977 DW rogues are actually one of the most popular classes to take him down. With the Shadow spec he will focus on nothing but the silly Decoy so you can just use your DW and Assassin skills to kill him in seconds. I have a video on it. I did it with and without Decoy with my Master Assassin.

I'm sending my regards to your boyfriend, because this fight is one of the major examples of why difficulty in DA2 sucks. I had to restart / retalent the end of Act2 pretty much every time because this guy is a jackass. (played warrior once mage twice). In P2 he has this attack which is effectively a lock on auto-hit that takes most of my health (the one where he impales you) which he usually follows up with another heavy attack. And on nightmare monsters tend to resistant / immune to a bunch of things so "oh you play a mage with these 2 elements? Sucks to be you bro." and since on nightmare there is 100% friendly fire, 2H warriors tend to oneshot their own party while taking 5% hp from enemies. Nightmare was so much fun in DA:O, but a pain in the butt in DA2 Anyway technically all but the impale attack can be sidestepped manually. Maybe even that can be but it's hard to see when he does it. The Arishok also drinks potions so I allow myself to drink the same amount. (He is a bit rude about it tho, traditionally drinking potions during duels is a no-no)

So sword and shield warriors could become beastly if built right!? Dragon age 2 is unique in this aspect compared to Origins and Inquisition?

No, it is not. In Origins, high STR will get you a lot of damage, in DAI lots of STR(or crit chance and crit dmg) and a good masterworks will make sure you will be super powerful. Every DA game gives you lots of options to kick ass as a W&S warrior.

He stacks 3 items with 100% damage returned at the melee attacker effect. The shield and 2 rings. so 300% of his normal attack damage everytime.

Well, you better believe it. I needed to use dlc items though because they will give you the most dmg(plus there is no nature weapon for the W&S warrior in vanilla DA2 only from the Emporium dlc). As I recall that was what you wanted right? No dlc equipment? Well, you can't get this speed without them. :)

@@AKisHerceg no it's OK sir, I just found out that you used that 17 nature dmg sword from the black emporium & shield of the knight herself, I know Qunari at DA ll are very weak to cold & nature damage, But still that sword is just an Act 1 weapon, I don't know i guess I'll just test it myself.
