@@Vileinist I love my Viper. I'm not even a violinist so to speak. Just a metal head with a violin. But between the heavier strings and my EHX Pitch Fork pedal, It is a total death machine thru a 4x12 half stakk
@Vileinist4 күн бұрын
Yea the Vipers look cool and all but I’m not sure trying to make the violin sound metal is my thing. With the acoustic covers I get to explore a different sound. But to each their own.

No difference between guitar and violin. It's so beautiful either way.
@Vileinist18 күн бұрын
It really is a brilliant solo. But I feel like the 100% speed doesn’t do the composition a true justice. When you space out the notes a bit more I think the beauty unravels even more. Sometimes when I practice to warm up I play this at 50% speed just to enjoy the notes
@vhil36418 күн бұрын
@Vileinist18 күн бұрын
Haha I actually like the end. To me it’s like it ends on a question mark. And actually I am not Norwegian just had a mild obsession with the country back when I first discovered black metal lol Now the flag hangs upside down in my garage 🤘🏻

How the hell do you transcribe these songs? Been doing Flesh and the power it holds and ive been using tab nabber and the tab conversion but i fear ive been doing it wrong as im just totally ignoring the string names but putting the tab numbers on the corresponding string(DAFCGD on flesh, nabber doesnt accept that and accepts EBGDAE). It sounds right, but it's bugging me im not sure im doing it right. Any advice? Also on another note my jaw literally dropped when i heard you play that solo on violin. Thats absolutely fucking nuts man
