I love watching covers of metal songs with classical instruments it just proves that metal isn't "just noise"

@@Vileinist Dude, do you still exist? Another channel perhaps? You are an amazing inspiration. I'm a metal head with a violin. But I'm slow. So i play DooM mostly. Never had a lesson. Just a metal head with a violin, heavy strings and an oktave pedal. Being so old of a video i would love to hear where you are at now on violin. You are amazing at this rekording. Salute from NorKal USA 🤘🪦🎻🪦🤘

It certainly does. Can you imagine hearing this played by a full symphony orchestra? Chick was absolutely brilliant. One thing I like about his writing is that you can totally listen to him grown and learn as both a player and writer when you go through his entire catalog. Listen to 'Scream Bloody Gore' and go right through to 'Sound of Perseverance"...and you will hear him mature into a brilliant writer and player. I consider 'Human' to be the point where he totally hit his stride and became brilliant..and where he cemented his legacy as being 'THE man'..the best. But there are flashes of that brilliance in 'Spiritual Healing'. The guy was absolutely incredible. There are very few musicians that I hold in the high regard that I do with Chuck.

Absolutely brilliant. I have been saying for the last 2.5 decades (as long as I have been proficient on guitar) that skilled/virtuoso metal and prog metal guitar players are the closest musicianship-wise to symphony orchestra/classical players. The top metal players are phenomenal musicians. To someone who didn't know that this was a Chuck Schuldiner, Death song, would totally think and believe that this was a piece specifically written for a symphony. From Human (and even a lot of Spiritual Healing) onward, the stuff Chuck came up with and wrote was absolutely brilliant.
