I am not a charcoal maker. I am a software engineer. I was raised in America, but my upbringing was German. My father imparted similar values onto me: do everything with care. I confess, however, that the world around me - that is, my coworkers - push me to care less and think of myself more. It is hard to be noble these days. Frankly, my pursuit of excellence has gotten me into trouble many times, always with superiors. But I push onward anyway. I aspire to be like this charcoal maker, and I hope that other engineers are inspired to do the same. I am trying my best, anyhow.

@@kodawari.official, какова толщина обуха?

This is the type of carpentry i thought theyd teach me here in american carpentry school when i enrolled. Nope, i had to learn it on my own later. They did teach me the big commercial and residential building construction kind of carpentry. I like hand tools and woodworking better. The same school called cabinetry/cabinet making woodworking. Woodworking is much broader than just cuts, angles, and jointery. America has such specific education intentional of the outcome of what they need done not intending to teach the craft. They leave out a lot because of that. The methods and skills they teach only apply to their system. This kind of craftsmanship is more my speed. There is a creativity and artistry to it in addition to the mastery of the craft. Your process is so awesome. Thanks for sharing!
