My launchpad keys don't seem to respond in FL studio. It lights up when in performance mode but the buttons of my launchpad don't actually function. I also used to be able to play it as the piano roll but now it does absolutely nothing. Know how to troubleshoot this?

Question: How do I trigger a specific light pattern when I hit a specific pad on the Launchpad? and How Do I change the color of the pad that I hit as well? I also want there to be no lights on unless I'm hitting a pad and that pad is triggering a light show pattern of some kind. I would GREATLY APPRECIATE ANY FEEDBACK AT ALL...please enlighten me if you know how to do this, because I've spent hours trying to figure it out! THANK YOU!!! <3
