@noshoddy I actually have depending on the buffer length. There is less lag with a shorter buffer length, but you have to find that easy medium between quick response and no staticy sounds from your soundcard. If the lights are what are enticing you I'd look at the Korg Padkontrol before you buy anything, and see if you can try them out at Guitar Center or something

@stickmister321 Depends what you're using it for. If it's just samples with the FPC then you technically can have two banks of 16 samples each, or half the buttons on the launchpad, because the FPC has only two banks. If that's what you're using it for it's great, however the launchpad isn't velocity sensitive. For an in-depth look into how the launchpad works with FL studio, I'd highly recommend clicking the video description and checking out the link at the bottom.

@kingofkeyboards Thank you :) and I would assume it works with most, I haven't seen it tried with other DAWs but FL recognizes it just like any other MIDI keyboard with just a bunch of keys. I have a huge spiel I wrote about how FL and the Launchpad interact if you're interested.

@kayastar89 Yeah. And I've got it down much better now, I've got the Launchpad to work with Live Mode in FL and not just firing samples to a backing track

Alright, well Image-Line completely changed FL Studio/Launchpad compatibility with FL10. Go check out their forums or their instructional videos on their KZbin channel and they'll get you going with the Launchpad completely Katapult-free.

@noshoddy i use an dlpd8 and lpk25 on fl and both work great no lag ...although it looks like they lag in this vid for somereason

Is launchpad like akais, but you have 4 tiems more buttons?? Please answer me fast, I need to decide do I buy mpd18 or novation launchpad. I want to use fl studio, so is it good for launchpad??? Please answer as soon as possible.

so what was the Launchpad 'mapped' for? like what did u have on the screen?

Basically what's going on in this video is I'm playing samples from the FPC and the track is playing in the background. I've gotten a lot better at using the launchpad live to trigger clips and actually perform songs live since recording this

i got this damn launchpad and its sucks ass.. i got the katapult installed and all it dose is light the launchpad up.. can you help me out an any way? do a video man!! nobody has a good vid on how to config the damn thing... i wanna make music not light the night away..

yea! i really didn't like the launchpad to much.. it took too much work to make it work.. i still never got it to work right after 2 or 3 days so i just sent it back.. looking at the maschine now.. its nicer!!
