i almost lost an entire instrumental because i didnt utilise ctrl-s on my potato PC. Glad fl studio saves a backup regardless, although i lost some small progress, but it was ok coz i could re do the small details, it was better than losing the whole thing. Point is, no matter how confident you're feeling, use ctrl-s, losing a file you worked hard on hurts waayyy more than a heartbreak.
