I can’t wait. Halo 2 was so important to my early childhood and every rebalance mod you’ve made has been super awesome. This mod is gonna make me love halo 2 even more and I’m ready for it 💪

Should have the classic Halo 3 armor be in the first few levels. Then after the Didact encounter, have it damaged, making the Jungle level more difficult. Then when Chief bosrds the Infinity, the armor of that game is given there.

I really love this idea for a SA1 remake, but i have a idea to still implement gamma´s jet booster while keeping the avoid the water mechanic: still include the part where gamma gets shocked by water, but make it like a achievement of sorts and maybe have that in gamma´s lost world, have that the ghost disable the jet booster and you need to rely on the blades.

This honestly looks like a damn solid way to revisit Halo 2. The return of CE's health system replacing the regenerating health in base already looks set to change the way the game is played.

Cool vid but I don't like the weirdly dismissive and passive-aggressive attitude directed at some of the post-SA2 games throughout it. I think I'm just craving more essays that cover Heroes, Battle and Shadow as well and how they continue to built off from what SA2 established (not "retcon" as some would have you believe). It's very frustrating how much those games are brushed aside just because one of them has aliens and guns which means it's bad and stupid or something. Oh well. Maybe if I sub all the games of the 2003-2005 era, maybe more people will feel differently about them.

Hey Windii! It's funny you comment this cuz I've actually been thinking about Heroes and Shadow a lot lately, to see if my feelings on them changed at all. I've never played Battle, admittedly. I totally get the feeling of a game being unfairly lambasted based on flawed preconceived notions. But when I lambast Heroes and Shadow it's not because I'm brushing them aside - it's cuz I've been playing them since they came out, and was just as invested in them as I was in the prior games, and came away very disappointed with their storytelling and how they handled several characters. And yea, I haven't really played Sonic games with English voices in a long time. While the OG voices help ShtH especially, it didn't really change a lot of my core issues with those games' stories. I guess for me, compared to SA1 and 2, there are just a lot more elements and moments in Heroes and Shadow that take me out of the experience.

I think they cut out the spiders and crows because they’re kind of goofy and would be difficult to make frightening in a modern setting. Also, Remake Carlos really sounds like Shoto Todoroki to me, but as an adult lol

What are some good modern sonic games on ps4 or ps5? I liked sonic frontiers but I know it's way different than other sonic games. The only other ones I played were the originals. I heard colors and superstars is good. Also og re4 is so much better than the demake.

Finally another true re fan that knows the truth. These remakes were ok but they deserved so much better. 2 3 and 4 are some of the best games ever made and their remakes don't come anywhere close to as good with all the cut content, cut music and horrible changes to the characters designs and personalities. Maybe we'll get lucky and they can re remake 2 3 and 4 some day and actually make them faithful and possibly be on par with the originals.
