Great list. I am French but like you I mostly read in English (last year just one book in French or a translation too). I totally agree with you on Emma being more of a Spring book and P&P an autumnal one. I read again Emma a couple of years and had so much fun. One of my favorite books of last year was I who have never known men ( I read it in English because I saw this book in English), it’s a unique and fascinating book. The reading experience is so unusual. I also own Yellowface and I want to read it this year too.I read and loved Sula, I want to read Baldwin this year because nowadays I read mostly Asian literature. And yes Outline takes place in summer in Greece. I have the second one Transit on my TBR. I love Jane Austen and have read it again over the years. Well, you will have a good reading year again with this great TBR. I enjoy your soothing voice and have subscribed to your channel 😊

thank you so much!!! all-time-fav nonfiction i would say “la prochaine fois que tu mordras la poussière” fiction is so hard!!!! but of 2024 i would say my brilliant friend :))) to start the year i just read “before the coffee gets cold”and i found it very sweet, hopeful, and easy!!

Bunny est super populaire mais il est écrit pour une niche de personnes, je sais pas comment le dire autrement. Personnellement j'ai trouvé l'histoire beaucoup plus profonde qu'elle en a l'air, avec beaucoup de métaphores. Je l'ai adoré (si c'était pas clair lol)

I’m also a uni student in Toronto who has spent a lot of time in europe (I have family there) and I totally relate to you. I’ve always found Toronto very overhwhelming, kinda ugly, and anxiety inducing. I can enjoy it when I try to but it’s not a place I naturally love. Also I read bunny for my book club last September, which is such a funny coincidence!
