thank you so much!!! all-time-fav nonfiction i would say “la prochaine fois que tu mordras la poussière” fiction is so hard!!!! but of 2024 i would say my brilliant friend :))) to start the year i just read “before the coffee gets cold”and i found it very sweet, hopeful, and easy!!

if you want another non-fiction or more autofiction i loved “Lie With Me” by Philippe Besson (i personally read it in french but the english translation is allegedly amazing)
