I know you didn't write these theories so don't take this as an insult to you l, but some of these theories are kinda dumb and directly contradict in-game information. Why would Dormin seal himself? He says in-game that the humans did it and the humans don't dispute this. Why would Dormin have any control over the Colossi? They're his wardens, not his wards. They were made to lock him up. I don't think it'd be a good idea to let him control them. If he could, why not make them hurt themselves so that he could escape?

Your description of protheans is similar to how people interpret the synthesis ending. More interestingly, Shepherd’s dna was said to be mixed with prothean since coming into contact with the pillar in the first game, and why the one on the Asari planet reacted to our Shep’s presence…it’s still unclear how synthesis will impact the Milky Way, but if the next game follows Andromeda’s 600 year time gap, I guess we’ll find out.

The rings make sense, but I have another theory why Phalanx and even Avion cannot or don't escape their Enclosures/Arenas. The just have a lot of mass. Avion is able to fly because of his large wingspan. If you look closely, it flaps them with a lot of effort and not that quickly as well. This implies that Avion just isn't capable of flying across the surrounding hills. As for Phalanx, he doesn't fly using kinetic energy such as flapping wings, but by using thermal energy to float around. The heatwaves of the Dessert allows it to keep afloat, while the Air Sacs on its underbelly provides steering and dexterity. If Phalanx decides to escape the desert region, it probably won't be able to stay airborne and eventually land on the ground. One simple rule could be that Dormin's essence makes them stay enclosed in their respective areas. The colossus seemed to barely be sentient. They have a child-like curiosity at times (Malus), but more or less are animalistic in nature. Some are more passive (Phalanx, Avion, Quadratus, Phaedra etc), while others are more aggressive (Dirge, Kuromori, Basaran, Gaius, Celosia, Cenobia etc), While some are in between (Value, Barbus, Argus, Hydrus, Pelagia). While Malus is clearly somewhat Sentient. It is bi-pedal, has a structure around it seemingly with greater Engineering involved, and also displays complex emotions at times.

Dormin to me sounds like an ancient god, one that simply is, rather than a being that achieved deification for a necessity of their people. Dormin feels like a force of nature that goes beyond our comprehension but does things for the simple reason that they can, neither good or evil

I think Sera's strange perception and Solas' comments reference the fact that the elves lost their divinity when Solas' sealed the fade with the veil. It was at that point in history when the elves lost their immortality and divine gifts. So Solas' saying "you are the farthest thing from what you were meant to be" references Sera being born without divinity and glory rather than latent magical ability. She was born mortal and frail, apart from her divine nature that never ages or wanes. But if she was divine she'd be naturally gifted at magic so it still works, and Sera is the only elf with a human body model so there's definitely something else going on there.

I tend to not believe the more fantastical and supernatural theories about Monster Hunter. Like you said yourself, they should be taken with a healthy helping of salt.

I expected for this to be similar to the other iceberg video, but I was caught off-guard by all the detail crammed into it! I especially liked the theories tying gameplay elements or cut content into canon. They were clever and thoughtful, like the invisible lands section.

It’s quite embarrassing that this video talks about Equal Dragon Weapon like it’s canon. It isn’t, and if it ever was in the game, it was reskinned into something else. Perhaps into Lao, looking at its size. Either way, MH was supposed to have a very different tone, and it’s actually pretty well known that it was.
