How do you decide what gauge of wire to use? Asking as an F cup.

Ok so F cups I would probably go down to 9 or 10 gauge. However it is really hard to bend if you have never tried it before. You can try doubling 12 gauge wire but depending on if the bust is heavy you will need to add in piece of 10 gauge wire. It’s not impossible but it requires practice and patience.

This would actually be a good design but you would need to use a thicker gauge if the bra size is anything above a D or DD cup or if the individual’s bust is heavy. What size bra does the person wear?

Great question! Although hot glue can work I would use B-7000 glue instead. Just a small dot of it works well. You can use it with hot glue or without it. Allow it some time to dry though.

Such a great tutorial, thank you!! I've been making so many bras thanks to your tutorial!! I even had a couple people reach out wanting me to make them one, but I'm stumped on how to size others... I can get them to measure their underwire but how do you determine triangle cup size for others? And how do you determine where to place the triangle cups on the underwire? Thanks again for sharing your wisdom! :)

Oh, so impressed. I wish I had the energy to do this kind of crafting again. For many years my friends and I made our own elaborate costumes for burning man.
