Great question! Although hot glue can work I would use B-7000 glue instead. Just a small dot of it works well. You can use it with hot glue or without it. Allow it some time to dry though.

It’s bra foam or you can ask for neoprene. Fabric stores usually carry it.

I prefer to use bra padding honestly. I use sponge more because it’s always in stock here in the Bahamas.

What kind of fabric did you use to cover the wire bra

The fabric used to cover is called spandex/Lycra. This one is mainly used for costumes or club wear. You can use any fabric that has a 4 way stretch and get the same effect.

Once it’s 4 way stretch you should be good. Sometimes 2 way stretch can work as well. I have also covered bras with non stretch fabric but the straps would need to be a stretchy fabric.
