I started worrying that I haven't sent in my tax return. Just checked with HMRC and of course I had! Went in on 23rd May 2024. My self employment was ready on 6th April, I spent the rest of the time waiting for P60s from the pension companies. My advice is, half an hour a month at the end of each month saves 2 days at this time of year. Simples!

Stampington Publications is just down the road from me (about 10 miles). I subscribe to Art Journaling and Somerset Studio. I rarely lend them out, when I do there’s rules. No licking fingers to turn pages or bending the spine. Loving the black and white papers. Beautiful tins and yummy “cookies”. Thank goodness the fires are getting under control (we’re about 70miles south from them). But every time our alarm goes off here in our canyon we cringe. Yes, we have our Ready, Set, Go bags prepared. Hugs to all and Happy Anniversary.

Loving the Fortnum's box, personally I would be photocopying the lid to use in my mixed media pieces. I also use that packaging.

Lovely to see both you and Ian on this week's vlog (and the boys, of course!). Those biscuit tins look gorgeous and I expect the contents will taste just as good as they look. If you are looking for a dairy alternative to use in coffee, I've found that the Califia Farms Barista oat milk is the best. You need to shake it up really well before pouring but it's lovely and creamy and even though I'm not lactose intolerant nor vegan (my late husband was), I prefer oat milk to dairy in coffee. I haven't found any non-dairy alternative for using in tea.

I’m not sure what made me drool more, the cookies, or the neat paper that the tins were wrapped in. 😂 I would love some of that stuff. It will make for some cool grungy texture in a mixed media piece.

What yummy sounding biscuits! I’m starting to get some dairy issues as well. I totally understand, luckily, I drank my coffee black. But even a little bit makes a difference. I love those tins. I wish someone would steal our snow. We got a foot and a half and it is frozen solid. Maybe it will thaw by July.

I indulge at Fortnums now and again, last thing I bought was a carousel biscuit tin for my mum that played music, those biscuits sound delicious. Loving the look of the black and white pads x

I love it when I catch one of your videos! I find soy milk in coffee is the most like cow’s milk. It is almost the same creaminess as cow’s milk
