awwww I had never seen the extended stuff and that scene between Lupin and Tonks makes it even more heartbreaking Wahhhhhhh!!! That fire is called Fiendfire, and it is notoriously hard to control. It is also one of the things that can destroy a Horcrux - in the book, Hermione knew what could destroy them, as she had floated the books to her from Dumbledore's office window being open while Hermione was in her dorm window and she packed them in her beaded bag. The fire snake that Voldemort summons up in the Order of the Phoenix fight against Dumbledore, is another example of Fiendfire. I never really saw that bit with the battle for hogwarts but now that you point it out like that, that is really amazing detail!

I believe in the book, they say that Ireland won, but Krum caught the Snitch. The dragon hatchling that Hagrid had was a Norwegian Ridgeback, so unfortunately the dragons at the tournament wasn't one of them (Welsh Green, Chinese Fireball, Swedish Shortsnout, and the Hungarian Horntail). I don't think Draco stayed a hater though, he seemed to grow up a bit towards the end - he didn't give away Harry at the Manor and in the outro of the last movie, he actually kind of looked like he greeted Harry at the train station, in a way. Like a silent acknowledgement of 'Hey, how are you doing, Potter?' kind of thing. I used to have a reoccurring nightmare as a young kid that wasn't really a...visual...dream, but more just, sensations. It was the sensation of being like..squeezed or compressed, like I was going through small tubes or spaces or something, very off-putting and I'd usually end up waking with a start. For awhile when I was a teen, I was completely obsessed with dream interpretations and things like parapsychology and psychic phenomenon and stuff like that and I would keep a dream journal one summer and I'd learned about REM sleep so I had set an alarm on my phone to wake me up in certain intervals and I would then write in the notebook anything I had dreamed. Now though, I don't really dream or if I do dream, I don't remember them when I wake up anymore. Your dream is really fascinating...I kind of feel like maybe the dream was trying to tell you that there's something needing fixed or a challenge was put in your path and when you talk about the last time you dreamed it, you were able to cross without falling into the water - that makes me feel like perhaps there was some kind of shift in your life...maybe some personal hurdle you had been struggling with was overcome around the same time as you having this dream and now that you've learned and grown, you don't dream of it anymore.

Ron does get a new wand this movie - Ron didn't want to write home requesting a new wand so soon after everything from the Howler from his mother and word that his father was faced with an inquiry due to his actions. And also didn't want to burden his mother and father with more expenses. I think the undertone you caught from Lupin recounting memories of Lilly because we learn in this movie that Lupin is a werewolf. It never says in the movies, but in the books it talks about how Lupin was bitten by Fenrir Greyback as a young child in retaliation for werewolf laws introduced by Lupin's father who worked at the Ministry of Magic. Lupin is very self-critical and very self-deprecating and it's a bit of a, I think, hint to the audience about him being a werewolf, as the scene right before this we see his boggart being the night of the full moon. The day that Lupin dreads each and every time. It's why the Marauders (Peter, James, and Sirius) learned to become animagi. Werewolves don't typically attack animals, and if attacked by a werewolf while in animal form, makes them immune to contracting lycanthropy so the guys could transform into their animal selves to keep Lupin company during the moon cycle.

Your facial expressions are *chef's kiss* and had me absolutely rolling! That line by Harry at the end when he says "I will be", wasn't in the script, Daniel Radcliff adlibbed it, and when Malfoy kicks Dobby down the stairs was also improved by Malfoy's actor

You asked how he had spotted the key among all of those other keys and it's the very thing that makes him such a good Seeker. I am loving how invested you are - you are like totally locked into the story and I love to see it! You should totally watch the 20th Anniversary of Harry Potter! Also, have you considered reacting to the Fantastic Beasts movies?

if you hadnt mentioned in a previous video that you borrowed your sons headset i would have known you were a parent when they were arming the young boys, extremely sad but a very common occurance during the similar mediaval periods. could just see your brain take that in so fast bless you, the directors for this were parents and i bet they knew the harsh reality of that would elicit hard emotion. Also really enjoying your reaction to this, welcome to Middle-earth addition <3

Ginny's character was toned down quite a bit from the books into the movies. Both Ginny and Ron's characters suffered in the switch from books to movies.

19:26, In the movie, Ron agrees with Snape here, but in the books, Ron defends Hermione. Ron's character was changed so much from the books to the movies. Generally, in the books he was quite smart. In the movies they took his smarts and distributed them to other characters, and they gave his character more of the comic relief bits. Similarly, in the books, Ginny was a firecracker. In the movies, not at all.

Ginny usually wears pants (trousers) instead of skirts and dresses because, like Ron, she also frequently wears her older brother's hand-me-downs.

Not sure why people diss this part of the series. It’s such a huge part and beginning of the climax of the story. The scene in the woods with the rebels, and at the dam, are so powerful and moving. The solidarity of the people. The sacrifices being made. Gives me chills and feels.

Here’s one I found online regarding why Hermione didn’t react as much when wearing the locket. Seems plausible to me. The horcruxes seemed to make the things the wearer was feeling much worse. For Ron that was the doubt he'd always had about living in his brothers and Harry's shadow, and the fear that Hermione would choose Harry over him. The horcrux affected him the most, because he had the most 'weaknesses' the locket could attack. For Harry, it was his anger over the secrets Dumbledore had kept from him, the feeling he wasn't getting anywhere, and that Ron and Hermione would eventually leave. For Hermione she was always going to be by Harry's side until the end, knew her family was safe, and already knew how she felt about Ron, so she would have a lot less doubts than Ron would obviously have. If Hermione had to wear the locket while doing her exams, she would of been affected the worst, because the locket would attack her 'weakness' of failing. So I don't think Hermione was affected as much by the locket because she had a lot less doubts the horcrux could possess.
