Around 35-40 min mark, "Lengthening the course hasn't affected who they've tried to affect, Tiger just flies it over everything". The commentator just admits this, and his co-commentator comes in and says, "Technology ....blah blah blah. Imagine Not only playing against the course, and competitors, but then the "establishment" because they can't stand your power.

The 1997 US Open was the 97th US Open. The first US Open was plated in 1895, but there were a few years when the event was not played. It is the 102nd anniversary of the first US Open, but it was the 97th time the event was played. Hope that makes the math understandable.
