At 18:15 the rolls are 6, 6, 2, and 3. Adding the Joker's bonus of +2 to damage, doesn't that make the total 19, not 20? Or did I miss something? Edit: nvm, I see now that the damage of the weapon is 2d6+1

Terrific question - I love it when a viewer pays such close attention to the details. Thank you!

Great videos. Can I make a production suggestion? There is a soft hiss whenever you're talking. You can get rid of that with noise removal in most audio editing software. It's minor but worth addressing if you want to take your videos up a notch
@GameMasterLee11 күн бұрын
Thanks Alex, yes it was a production glitch on two videos with a new mic. Minor yes, but I also happen to feel my videos are already top notch despite it. Lol

This was very helpful. Parts of the book can be confusing because they have a tendency to use jargon without defining it. I will be showing this to my players before our next session

I can't get that same Chase setting you have. I go to lay out the chase like you but i got an error that the complete card management mod isn't installed. so i installed it and it has a similar window but with only 1 option to confirm. when i select that it just closes the window and nothing happen
@GameMasterLeeАй бұрын
I am very grateful you’ve posted this - I’m getting the same error! There have been some recent upgrades and it’s either that or somehow another module. Looks like I’m off to the Foundry Discord and hit up the SWADE thread to mention… thank you again!
@GameMasterLeeАй бұрын
EDIT: I have installed the module and activated it. I did get a row of cards but NOT where they used to be, they were at the very top left of my map - I had to scroll way out to find them. But they WERE there. I hope that helps!

Can you change the cards inside the deck? Such as using 4 jokers in each deck?

You can! By right clicking on a deck, you can select the Action Card Editor. Top right of the window is a “+ Card” button, click that and go to town!

I think you're the only other person I've seen with a decent set of Time Life Old West books. My Dad collected the full set and are fantastic in production and feel: probably read Gunslingers in particular hundreds of times when young, marvelling at all the crazy firearm pictures. Usually an old edition D&D player but need a break from attrition mechanics. Your helpful videos aided me in deciding my kids would have a lot of fun with all the tactile elements of SWADE. I recently got a set of ceramic poker chips so it must be fate. heh
