This is The First Take. You sing live and you only get one take, it’s raw and unedited so no, they are not going to get rid of the shuffling sounds etc. If you claim to be a singer, you go here to prove that you can really sing live. It’s a very popular channel in Asia .

The reason First Take leaves in the few seconds of the group moving to their positions is to affirm that the mics are turned up so you can trust what you hear is exactly the sounds made by the performers. There are a number of popular groups that will likely never perform on First Take… they would be exposed cuz there are no excuses… and as the title indicates … only one “First Take” so make it count!

It feels a lot of groups are centered around a recording studio and doing mvs, XG was built to perform live, singng and dancing, this is one several reasons why they can do this, check out some their world tour performances, both their music and covers (Brittney Spears, Keshia Cole, Whitney Houston, Destiny’s Child)

While I do like your reactions, I do have one issue...Less of your comedy routine and clever little comments and more of focusing on the song and the lyrics. Now I know I will be jumped in the comments for having a ....comment, But I am not hating just giving my opinion, which is like a grain of sand in the big picture so...chill. I'm just saying that I don't know if I'm watching a stand up comedy routine or an actual reaction to the song itself. Anyway, off my soap box. Peace.

There is a sound engineer for The First Take so some editing was done. Having said that not every artist sound this good there, those girls are extremely extra ordinary. ❤

The best way for them to show its live performance is when Chisa and Maya made changes in the way they sing their lines and ended the song with acapella while the MV just fades at the end

Well... take 7 incredibly talented young girls (chosen from thousands of others), with an iron will & desire to succeed, train them extensively for 5 years, in all matters regarding singing, rapping & dancing, expose them to all kind of music & enrich their musical culture and here is the result: the perfect XG. Them & Babymonster, in my humble opinion, are the best idol girl groups on the whole planet right now, no question asked

This is why us fans always ask reactors to react to this version of Winter without you! I hear 2 parts that are different than the MV, one of Maya's runs 2:33-2:36 and one of Juria's runs 3:59-4:01 at the ends you can hear the difference between this and the MV. Not that is bad at all just that they vocally broke it up whereas in the MV they're both smooth all the way through.

I think a lot of what we are seeing goes back to this statement from Simon to the girls during training before they did their first live performance as trainees, I know it’s in ep xx early on but pause it as he is saying it and just look at their faces, that will tell you everything ‘If we fail, I take all the responsibility, don’t be afraid, rather just enjoy it all’

XG is all Japanese members (born and raised in Japan) all under XGALX group thanks a subsidiary of a a parent company of AVEX - a Japanese entertainment corp. trained in both Japan and Korea. Amazing journey!

0:55 Yes they do need to leave it in or else people will cry fowl and say the whole thing was edited and not done live in one take, the noises are to prove the mic are LIVE and that they are SENSITIVE mics without any effects on it or else the shuffling would sound weird. I dont mind it, I think because this is the whole gimmick for the show, that its live and done in 1 take, so they do everything they can to prove that in non obtrusive ways, they have to sell it.

The premise of The F1rst Take is pure live vocals. Now, they did add a Gate to make sure the vocals don’t bleed. There are no post production processing as well. I just don’t like how some ppl really doubt how good they sound. They have an a-cappella version of this song on IG or TT where they are sitting on a staircase. And they’ve sang this song live on their concert.
