Hinata did not in fact train with AVEX prior to the GALX project. The other girls were all part of Avex Training Academy prior to the project starting Hinata showed up because she had joined a local dance academy like only a few months prior and the instructors said "Hey this opportunity is coming up you should try out." But it was actually her singing that Simon was drawn to. She commented that she felt like all of the other girls were "Shiny and polished and she was unsure if she'd be able to handle herself in the unit."

Do a little research about the First Take the whole point of that show is to prove or disprove whether artists have real talent. That's why the mics are on you can hear everything so people can't dispute whether they're real mics. There are artists that avoid that show because they know they're not going to sound as good

The premise of The F1rst Take is pure live vocals. Now, they did add a Gate to make sure the vocals don’t bleed. There are no post production processing as well. I just don’t like how some ppl really doubt how good they sound. They have an a-cappella version of this song on IG or TT where they are sitting on a staircase. And they’ve sang this song live on their concert.

@@thebelovedone2 I’m sorry, I’m not going to take an opinion from a jaded, biased, narcissistic, “famous” (in his head), “musician/singers” words. He did Avril’s performance and dissected it as if she has the best vocals. We all know her nasally style vocals and she’s not a good example of live vocals. If you noticed, he picked and chose which one to critiq. AG is at least a little better, and I’m not an AG fan. But if you heard them live, they sound good. I guess he never heard of Gates especially performing at a space like that with microphones so close to each other. What projects has he done to make him relevant? All you see are videos about “fakery”. He released 1 effing album and heard some of his stuff. I’m a rock fan and no, he’s stuff is not it. I love how “famous” musicians think they can throw shade at artists who has done better than them. That’s quite alarming, doesn’t it?

I think a lot of what we are seeing goes back to this statement from Simon to the girls during training before they did their first live performance as trainees, I know it’s in ep xx early on but pause it as he is saying it and just look at their faces, that will tell you everything ‘If we fail, I take all the responsibility, don’t be afraid, rather just enjoy it all’

They're the real deal!! These girls are so good that there is actually a clip of all seven of them singing a part of this song live in a capella while they're sitting or standing on some stairs and it sounds just the same. Not to mention these seven girls are extremely talented dancers as well and most of them are very good rappers too. The leader Jurin and the two youngest members Maya and Cocona are already aces in the group after just two years. It's just a matter of time before XG blows up like BTS or BLACKPINK in America because they already are the first and so far only Japanese group in history to make it on the US charts

The reason First Take leaves in the few seconds of the group moving to their positions is to affirm that the mics are turned up so you can trust what you hear is exactly the sounds made by the performers. There are a number of popular groups that will likely never perform on First Take… they would be exposed cuz there are no excuses… and as the title indicates … only one “First Take” so make it count!

This is a R&B/Hip Hop Japanese group that only sings in English with a smattering of Japanese/Korean in their rap solos. Four of the girls are hardcore rappers Coccona, Maya, Juria and Harvey. The Main singers are Chisa, Juria and Hinata. These voices are real, I have seen them recently in concert and they sang without any assistance from technology. You really need to do a deep dive into them. They fashion their music around famous American R&B and Hip Hop groups that they personally love to listen to.

This is why us fans always ask reactors to react to this version of Winter without you! I hear 2 parts that are different than the MV, one of Maya's runs 2:33-2:36 and one of Juria's runs 3:59-4:01 at the ends you can hear the difference between this and the MV. Not that is bad at all just that they vocally broke it up whereas in the MV they're both smooth all the way through.
