Hello. Can you tell me how many inches is the front disc and is it possible to order it from ebay or other sites? I am looking for a 2013, I also have an M50 and I want the same style on my bike, can you help me? I will wait for your answer and I hope you will not leave me unanswered 😇
@thefoggytrekker2 күн бұрын
The Front Brake Diameter is (in/mm) 11.8 / 300. It is on a 2019 m50. I am sure you can find them on eBay or Amazon. I am in Canada so my searches on these sites would a little different than your if you are not in Canada. The one you see in the video is the OEM disc

@@thefoggytrekker Thank you very much, and if the front disc of the (M90-C50 M109 R) models is removable, should I put it on my 2013 M50?

Curious how v-storm does? Does v-strom have aggressive dirt tires? Are you waiting longer since with v-strom?
@thefoggytrekker3 күн бұрын
The vstrom does very well. It has better tires for dirt than I do on the TA. The TA has a bit more clearance and a bit lighter but we do not run along very hard. With our experience level both bikes have no problem keeping up with each other.

Thanks John, we built up each side with the rock that was laying around. It was really loose and unstable so we played it safe and walked the bikes across. It was the right move for sure. You can see when I take mine across the back end slide out so easily.

It really does. I have been really happy with the TransAlp so far. It has a few things that I don’t care for, but you will not find a bike that does everything. Later this fall I will be doing a review of the TransAlp and explain what I like and dislike about it. How it preformed over the summer given the conditions I had it in. Man that Givi windscreen looks HUGE!! I have the Puig Touring which I've been extremely happy with. Wide enough that it keeps the wind off my shoulders and tall enough so I no longer get all the helmet buffeting. Only thing it could use is a vent in the middle to let a little air into the cockpit pocket on those really warm days. Looks like a fun trip.

I just bought this bike and it came with this windscreen. As much as I like it deflecting air off my chest, wind hits right above my helmet visor shaking my head excessively at highway speeds. I wear glasses so my vision with the vibration makes it hard to focus. Like someone said, I’d prefer the wind to hit my entire helmet than just the top half that makes it feel like someone palmed my head and started shaking it. Hopefully I can find another that’s a tad shorter as I don’t like the look of those windscreen extenders.
@thefoggytrekkerАй бұрын
@@mindriddle there are not a lot of options for these bikes. I have since added a clip on extension and it works great. I just ordered a cheap one to test and it has worked great.
