I haven't used IBKR is a couple years and i redownloaded the platform - it is all new and swanky now, not the old version I'm used to. Anyone know how to do this in the new version? Haave I downloaded a dumbed down version some how?

Thanks for video. Although I had the correct setting, InteractiveBrokers is really slow at buying fractional shares when I tested $50 with MSFT. I gave up after a few seconds. I tried 0.1 MSFT stocks and it also didn't seem to work also. Maybe the value of the transactions were too small. When entering $ they also need to be whole $ I.E 77 instead of 77.95. I much prefer Trading 212 to Interactive Brokers, fractional shares seem to work much better for me with 212 and the UI is better. The only advantage I can see with IB is that you can buy some stocks not available through Trading 212 e.g. ARM & TSM

Hello man, I really like your content but I’m struggling with something you might have the answer, When I open and close a bull spread it counts me as two trades, is there a way to close it that counts me as one trade the full position? Since I have a margin account its only allowing me to do one vertical position per week!

Taking delivery of shares is good, we can sell them later when the prices go up again. So there is no need to do stop loss. can you tell me how to take the delivery of shares in IBKR after selling puts .. ??

I can take the delivery of shares if the price goes down . Why is it showing Max loss of 17,702 ? so when can I take the delivery of shares when the prices below strike price, is it at expiry or before expiry ??

Hi Andrew, the Advanced Charts now seem to not let you see pre/post market data on anything other than the 1 Day time frame, but in your video, you are on the 5 min timeframe - do you have any knowledge of this? There's literally no answer to this problem on Google or ChatGPT.

I was forced to leave Webull and have chosen IBKR. I like some features but this p&l location is absurd. Plus I don’t even think I can do it on IBKR mobile. 🙈

Serioulsy ?? Set up a watch list , click buy or sell the security have your order pre set to default to market or limit and trasmit , take about 2 seconds your way is not the fastest . Or you can set up the book trader to link to your watch list and trade from book trader , just as fast . Use hot keys to move your limit price around if you are not sure when you want to put the trade in . I have been using TWS for over 20 years.
