Excellent tutorial! My roaches are looking great. Have you tried hardcote before sealing? I’m guessing the matte takes away from the shine.

Thanks for this video. You guided me and helped a lot. Although I started black and dry brushed Grey and white your tips helped so much. First I always took too much color and lost the details. Br

When you use the knapsack, do you lose it or do you keep it until the end of the game please? Same with the other tools like the gloves?

I've been sewing for years, and also describe myself as lazy and half-ass stuff. This is by far the best sewing video i have ever seen.

Great video - the instruction manual is pretty poorly laid out, so this was a great help!

Hi! Maybe it is too late now (after 5 years ...), but a small modification should be done in the description for paint list. The Citadel equivalent of Reaper's "Leather brown" is not Skrag brown! The correct color is Cadian flesh tone! BTW, I like the series, a paint my M&M minis with the help of this guide :).

Been coming back to this tutorial every so often for the past few years. Not sure if you’ll see this or not but the link to the written instructions isn’t working anymore. That aside, great tutorial (obviously as I’ve been coming back to it over and over again).

Righto! Can't fix it tonight - KZbin is being silly. I'm going to solve it tomorrow and then upload some auto-generate captions from another program. I'll reply again when they're in. Thanks for letting me know!

I am really enjoying painting along with this series. I have never painted any miniatures before I watched these videos. Even though these videos are 4 years old, they are great and I am glad I found them. So far my roaches are turning out pretty great, and I will be working on the spider soon. If I wanted to try the darker version of the spider, would the very first base layer still be a light brown, and then jump to a dark brown for the layering? Or should the very first base layer be a medium brown and then start layering with the dark brown?
@TheOneTAR2 жыл бұрын
I'm glad you're enjoying the series! If you want your overall Spider to be darker, then yes, just start with the medium brown :) I started with the lighter tone because I wanted the legs and "edges" to be lighter, if that makes sense. Starting with the color you want the lightest bits to be makes sense, whatever that "lightest" color is. Hope that helps!
