I have an MPC 37. 4 days old and frozen screen at start up with the OS window. Need to Force shutdown everytime but just reloads back to the frozen screen. Did the firmware update on day 1 and registration. Nothing on the MPC except the stock software and instruments. So frustrating after only 4 days of use and learning. 😞

I notice in this video you having some trouble with your front aux port, I have a similar issue, and was wondering if/how you got it repaired.

You're the best Poli. Yeah I've placed you in my little papers for MPC tutorials. I barely used it since 2022 because i am very much in my complicated studio, using lots of different equipment and playing music instead of programming computers and stuff... The MPC X ? ... Ok I love it but I have pain to understand many of its functions and how to use them so. Each time I need an explanation you are there and you're very helpful. yes ! By the way... I am trying to figure out how to record audio tracks for more than 3 minutes max in a single take, as it seems to be the limit with Mpc X. How are you connecting them to send audio between them? I am having trouble connecting my Live 2 to the key 61. I got them linked but Ableton link doesn't send audio through?

I’m trying to figure out how to connect two mpcs to one mixer (model 12) via usb. I don’t plan to use them both at the same time, but I want to be able to use the mixer to mix the separate outs anytime I use one mpc or the other, without having to swap cables every time

What do you mean, should i risk that or buy Live 2 perfect condition garanty up to june 2025 for same money?

Thank you Poli. I’m fortunate enough to have an MPC x se which I use everyday. It’s the heart of my setup. But it’s not portable at all. It’s massive. The Live 2 is so much more convenient and the battery plus speakers is something no other device has that I can think of. I haven’t got a live 2- nor have I upgraded to 3.0 yet. However I’m thinking that if Akai releases a live 3 for 3.0 I might grab it and use it for 3.0 arrangement. If you’ve bought plugins for one device - do they cross over on a new machine or do you have to purchase them again? The thing about MPC x se - is it came with almost all of the plugins - from fabric Xl, hype, mellotron etc. I’ve only had to buy delay pro, sub factory, jura and mini d on Black Friday - under $200. I love the mpc x e. I also have a soft spot for elektron and love the sounds they come with - however it’s so expensive. When you add it up with what you get with an mpc - sampler, fm synth, drums, mixer, and effects- in Australia it’s over $10k. But the mpc x se was under 1/3 of that with so many inputs and outputs and connectivity options. Not dissing elektron because I’m a fan but I’d rather stay in my financial lane. Even if I have the MPC x se and a live 2 it’s still half the cost of electrons devices that do similar jobs. Akai are super generous on Black Friday. It’s the only time to buy their plugins and even in 2024- gave everyone a free plugin who signed up. Multi filter band. Out of all the gear out there - akai’s forefather Roger Linn has designed world class musical tools. The only issue with MPC one is the lack of inputs and outputs which could be resolved with a class compliant interface.

What’s up great video . I was wondering how do I bounce the entire sequence to audio without making everything separate wav files? In 2.0 I could just use hit the pencil tool next to sequence and it had the option to bounce.

Hey I picked up one of these AKai Forces used demo's awhile back and I am just getting around to trying to figure it out. I noticed on the plug-ins you can hear the sound samples when you scroll like on the other loads (ex: Drum kits). Am I doing something wrong? Why can Inot sample the sounds. The only thing I can figure is any sample can be modified by the engine (Ex:Hype) itself once loaded??

I like controller mode and I can do all the midi routing and everything in standalone.. but the minute I go to controller mode I can’t hear any audio from my external synth and it’s the same settings. I’m wonder why I see nobody using external synths in controller mode. Please please help

whats up bro, im new here. I just came up on a soundcraft 12MTK. and i was wondering if i was able to route my mpc to the mixer and then route the mixer to my daw either usb or through my 18i20 interface. its my first mixer and not sure which is the best way. and my mpc is in standalone mode always.
