@@benjaminkappler2255 that's not how the guild works, and I've explained why if it DID work this way it'd be a horrible idea because all the healers would die. The leader called "run" that isn't the same call as "abandon everyone, every man for himself"

@Psybear_tv that's actually exactly how the guild works. Tyler has reinforced that, especially in HC. Also their healer was safely out of danger, it was Yamato that sent them back in and got them killed, and the druid got himself killed. The Priest and Pirate are the only ones who didn't actively make things worse, Yamato was far more of a detriment than Pirate ever was

@@Psybear_tv The leader called run, others called run, a subsequent pull was made, the mage was already furthest away and they tried to undo the run call? He is getting far too much blame and hate for the outcome. The group leader is most at fault. He should have directed the retreat better if they wanted to slowly back out. Ultimately to have kicked Pirate is a wild outcome. You want people to be heroic and risk the hundreds of hours they have put in the game but to characterize this as a total and full out roach is simply incorrect. The guild works differently sure and in an ideal world pirate could have done more to help (which he acknowledged) but he made a business decision and he group leader should have called the retreat more effectively. But hey props to you all cause this is wildly entertaining 😂.

First Pirate is supposedly OG WoW player, him and his dad worked for Blizzard and his dad helped create WoW while he help on WoW and StarCraft, if you watch a few videos of him talking where he flames another mage who did what he did on how he could have used this spell that spell and that group would have lived and then another on how he loves when you have to play on top of your game or you can die and you and your team help eachother not only win but survive to fight another day and he lives for that to what happen recently, he played like a noob and definitely roached, there are people that come out of the wood to hate him but he talks such a good game and acts like he is a world class dev and claims to be a top government security hacker and has the awards while telling on people and reporting them his EGO is why he is facing heat plus the game he made was basically an Undertale Clone but thinks that no games should be archived and you shouldnt own your games like some moral high ground and now everyone has seen his true nature and character the reason Asmongold defended him with bad takes and pretty much altered the reality that everyone could see, is Asmongold claims he is the best but he gets carried and is the first to die everyone gives him everything when he plays on his own its embarrassing he pulls an Elon and it confuses me????

Not only is Pirate the closest to the trash, you can see the mob is targeting him. Also, I'm not sure why they decided to be so far from the tank and then jump off the side instead of bringing the mob to the tank? I feel like a lot of people play vanilla in a similar style they would play retail and that can be a big mistake. In newer content the goal is to just burn everything down, but this is classic where you would need to use these abilities especially for tricky pulls. I think a safe word is smart though to show how far it has escalated. I quit trying the WoW seasons because so many people don't understand their classic abilities. I would literally offer to help a healer in open world and they wouldn't heal me so I'd die.

Pirate is wasting all his mana on shields and blinking instead of sheeps and novas to help the group from dying. He is only thinking of himself and in hardcore you gotta try to save everyone if you can....he has the most abilities to do so and he hasnt hit a mob once so he has literally zero aggro on the mobs.

@@m.j.e.5245 He can gouge and blind. kidney shot you gotta build combo points on that mob, it doesnt transfer mobs this isnt retail....also cant distract in combat. Did i say the rogue could do nothing? nope i did not. But the video wasnt about the rogue it was about the mage....

The self-proclaimed pro mage however, could have done more with 3 buttons (nova, blink, r1 blizzard) than the rogue with his whole arsenal. With "20+ years of mage experience" and the previous boasting of "how he would safe the group as a mage" it's the least I would expect him to do.

@ He was at no risk whatsoever. Instead of that max rank blizzard he could have r1 blizzard 4 times. The nova before blink would have been almost free and 100% safe to do as well. Most basic mage shit that he was probably doing every couple of minutes during leveling. Yes tank was terrible too but at least he didn't roach.

Pirate saw how shit his team was playing and decided not to help them because they need to get punished to get better. You can tell by how he immediately starts bullet pointing what went wrong after he roached out. He doesnt like yamato personally bc he is super annoying and confrontational so he chose to let them be and not help. If he only was honest about it this wouldnt be a problem at all tbh tbh

Everyone but the priest played terribly and yet they only blame pirate. Ozy should have pulled the mobs back not tanked in the path of the pat, the druid should have not been jumping around so much pulling extra stuff, yamato did absolutely nothing besides try to cc the boss who cant be ccd over and over and make terrible calls and Pirate bailed when he could have saved at least one of them. Pirate shouldn’t be the only one taking heat but Yamato is being the louder voice blaming everything on Pirate. They all played bad

Everyone except Pirate admitted they did things wrong. Pirate wouldn't take even the smallest bit of responsibility for the situation. He could of easily helped everyone get out alive. Nova, blink away, then r1 blizzard. Instead the guy who claims to be a wow expert blows his whole mana pool on a max rank blizzard which he only lets one tick go thru.

I honestly think that pirate just wanted to see blood. There were bad vibes in the group. He saw an opportunity to get people killed and took it. While technically "not his fault" since he didn't pull, regardless I'm pretty sure he made the decision not to help, while absolutely knowing he easily could've. Stating "I'm out of mana" and grinning. Then proceeds to makes sure not to have mana in order to keep plausible deniability. Blinking and casting Ice Barrier while already 300 yards away from all the mobs. Hovering over mana items, but not using them. Just dying to tell his viewers "haha, got em!". All that said, I'd love to see a redemption arc, but it's gonna be tough to find people brave enough to group with him going forward.

No, preach plays and does content for it casually. He just doesn't do mythic anymore. He dips in and out when there is content. Similar to how he plays FF14. He's more a variety streamer now with his specialty being mmo's.

When Yamato calls salvageable he means that they can still save Ozy and Snupy and get out alive. Yamato doesn't mean they can turn the fight to clear the mobs. And everyone but Pirate in this situation is on the same page with these calls.

Hes not the one who portrays himself as a beacon of wow knowledge and have clip after clip of him saying how if shit ever hit the fan hes kidney, blind, gouge, etc... Meanwhile pirate does have clips of him saying exactly what he should have done in that situation.

@The4HorsePeaples while that's fair, if you are lvl 60 in hc, you should know your class yeah? Especially if you are going to call run, your then telling healer to heal, then saying salvageable. We can all arm chair and say pirate should have done xyz, but do you think anybody would care that pirate tried if he stayed and died, or would every commentary be this was a mess, comms were bad, they called run why didn't he run?

D9 talks about a very basic concept of art. "Brevity is the soul of wit". This means don't waste my time.. This tutorial is more about the story, which from what I hear is irrelevant at this point, than teaching a player how to play the game. If it is for veteran players, as some say, then I ask why even bother with a tutorial? If veteran platers don't know how to play this game after 5, 10, 20 years of paying the game, then no tutorial's gonna help, imho.

I specifically meant for MMORPG's but that's a fair point. Druids are all represented differently I just love Blizzard's concept of them with Balance and Feral specifically.
