Hey guys new gun owner (Taurus G3) My safety won't lock with the slide back. Plus my slide won't release with a magazine in it. Have to release magazine then hit slide button release. Am I doing something wrong? Okay just watched a vid on the G3 and the slide release does work with magazine in it. Very hard to do tho, much easier when mag is out. Now if I can figure out about the safety not locking with slide back?? TIA Jay

I've been getting this malfunction with my snap caps as well. I noticed they are shorter than the live rounds. Frustrating but glad I'm not the only one who experienced this. I thought it was the gun. I'm curious if it will hurt the extractor over time

Another Kore belt owner here. No need for a duty belt, but the EDC belt works just fine for me, and holds up the 1911 just fine

How do you realease tension on the belt? Like when you eat a six pack of jellies and need to release it in the car with your belly hanging over it... Is there just a button you can press or something?

At the 6:47 mark you can see the release system up close. You have to press both springs to make it work.

While I do agree with you I have a couple of issues. 1 this is not a self defense situation and deadly force is not allowed. 2 most less lethal protection will be also be carried in the purse the same way so it would also not be available. Still get a thumbs up

So I am really hoping that after you mentioned your requirements of a holster that you would also not carry a gun that don't have a safety.

You hit anything with an air pistol or a 22 LR, but... with a 45 ACP or a 40 S&W you, a right handed, hit low and left. Why? Flinch. The rest is 99,99% bullshit. I am sick of reading stupid/fake testimonials like "this is the best explanation ever!" in all these gimmick based videos. Well orchestrated robots or just too many idiots?

I have been shooting for about a dozen years, but just saw this for the first time recently. I could not get the slide to move at all, and remember thinking that if this ever happened in a critical situation it would be game over for me. Thanks for this video.

I just ordered this last night. Waiting for its arrival. There is a target in the package that you can shoot to start the drill without walking up to your phone to operate. Also, a number 2 pencil works fine as a doll stick backup.

Any type of mechanical bolt lock/release mechanism makes the problem many times more efficient, especially under stress. Even the shitty bolt lock/release on the griffin mk2. And yes it is shitty.

Yep, ran across that method by accident myself. And if it clears, it clears. If it doesn't, continue working the problem until it does. But I doubt other tubers are going to jump on your vid and call it something "new" that you developed.

Kim, Great review I'm glad i went with the Enigma. I have several AIWB holsters, 2 from Phlstr and one from Tier1. The only thing i disagree with is i have a Phlstr Floodlight and Floodlight 2. These are not firearm specific but attach to the light still very secure.

Neil... I normally do watch and find your drills and topics informative. However, there is an unrealistic flaw in this drill. You are putting an unfired round into the chamber that can easily be removed. What normally occurs in this type of malfunction is that a fired empty case that has expanded from firing has failed to extract for some reason. It will be much harder to remove this casing from the chamber than an unfired round. Your chances of removing it by flicking the gun or using gravity is not likely to work.

I had the same issue with the 13 round mag that came with it. I could only load 11. After a few phone calls and a lot of waiting S&W sent me a new spring and follower. I also purchased two ten round mags from S&W online. One would bind up so bad the follower stuck in the mag. On inspection I could see the corner of the follower jammed in the mag release hole! If I pushed in on it to release where it was caught the spring and follower would fly up so hard and fast it would actually pop out of the top of the mag! The other ten round didn't do that but it was binding a little so I sent them both back. I've been waiting two months now for a replacement. When I ordered those two ten round mags they sent me two S&W 30 super carry mags! I had to call and wait for the two correct mags only to have them be junk as described above. I did order a couple mags from Brownells and had no issue with them. S&W needs to get their shit together.

I could only get 11 rounds into the mag, 12 and 13 are impossible! I bought a mag loader and it solved that problem. I figure that keeping the mag loaded, the spring tension will loosen up.
