My favorite part of the build is that instead of making everything blue, you gave the cooler and the rgb a touch of orange color. It makes everything beautiful as a whole

Thats brilliant. I don't know why the PSU shroud always have an opening in almost all computer cases. The opening only allow dust go into the PSU cables and make cleaning more difficult.

Hey, GREAT BUILD! I know this is a 6+ year old vid, but I too put one together, very similar to what you built. In fact, I purchased ANOTHER FT02 case about 7 years ago and put in my garage and just recently built another one for myself (using the same process) and it looks amazing! I just cut out the bottom completely to fit the radiator FIRST on the bottom, THEN put the 3 x 180 mm New RGB Silverstonetek PWM fans (which look amazing), and had Demcifilter custom make my filter that I put underneath radiator.I LOVE this case. Even after 14 years of this case being release, this (to me) is STILL the BEST air cooling PC case that I've ever worked with. Again, great job! By the way, if you're interested in how I put mine together I have a detailed link (on InsanelyMac), where used to host (and post) people's PC builds called: MacMod of the Month. Again, let me know know, later!

When I was into casemodding all work had to be done by hand. When working on my AlumaxX casemod, around 2005, I found one guy, I believe it was on the Bit-tech casemod forum, that used a cnc machine. He was the one that got me interestedinto these machines and he that the reason I bought a High-Z 720T in 2006. Not using it to make casemods, but for making things like decorative wooden wall boards. It is a great machine and seeing someone using it for casemod parts brings back memories.

Can I just use this as a reservoir and don't put a pump in?
@metallicacidcustoms3 жыл бұрын
There are 2 versions of this 220 reservoir. If you buy the acrylic back version, then you CANNOT us the reservoir without the pump. The version of the 220 that has the black aluminium and stainless steel back like in this video CAN be used as a standalone reservoir without a pump. :)

Reseroir ... TOP ... Pump montage .. flop .-.. i Think it makes no Sence to put an Aluminium heatsink without any Termal Conductor on top of a Plastic housing of the Pump ... Better remove the Plastic and put the heatsink direktly on the Pump with thermal pad .. You have to modify the Pump housing for that .. or Use a metal Housing from Aftermarket ( or a Pump with heatsink .. like Alphacool or EK )
@metallicacidcustoms3 жыл бұрын
You are correct that this is not a one step solution for all DDC pumps. But it is difficult to cater to the many different manufacturers
